This restaurant has a very nice, quite chilling venue with the urban feel as the rest of the hotel. All new and shiny with very good service, however the food let us down quite a lot. It definitely didn’t feel like nice hotel dining except the dish presentation and attentive waiter who recommended very nice wine. I’ve had a tiger prawn pasta with broccoli and cream sauce, which was pretty — tasteless. The sauce was more like skimmed milk and it felt like the food you could make easily at home from pre-prepared supermarket deal. The salmon with black rice was a bit better on the flavour side, but again nothing you couldn’t make at home. I’m probably quite demanding regarding what makes my taste buds to shout WOW, but then again, you don’t want to spend £15 per dish(without side dish) thinking you can do better at home and not being even a creative chef?.. The same holds for the dessert — it just tasted like a supermarket prepared food. For me this visit definitely wasn’t a VALUE for money, but I suppose they rely on the fact that this hotel isn’t close to any restaurant nearby. And when the guest will arrive late, they will be glad for anything.
