£2 drinks all night so definitely makes for a good bar crawl starting place or a place before leading on into the city centre nightclubs. Never usually busy so don’t expect a bustling atmosphere but alright selection of drinks available and plentiful seating.

Bar rogue & Bar wave are the type of place you would start your night if your typically the age of 18 25 thier not the best clubs in manchester if im honest however the drinks are cheap and they play good music mostly rnb but the bouncers are over friendly a little seedy in a way and some of the people are looking for a fight all the time

Wave is located in Portland Street just of Piccadilly gardens so it pretty hard to miss, it is joined on to the Britannia hotel. By day it is a bar and then at night it turns into a very popular club. I have only ever been on a Saturday night and it was packed, the establishment has recently been refurbished and looks pretty modern. I’m not sure how many people it holds but it seems to be a lot more than it did before and it stays open later now, think I left about 3 last time I was there. It seems to be really popular on a Saturday with drinks relatively cheap compared to some places, good thing about this place is its location, it so easy to fall out of in the early house and get a take away
