Atrium Apartments

This is an odd new way of staying, as it’s not a hotel nor a rental it’s called a «Service Apartment». Have seen these in Tokyo, and other cities called «long stay» which is generalkly cheaper than a hotel but you can cook in your own kitchen, sorta studio apartment.
The point is you have to pay a deposit and it was refunded in one week. But even including the deposit it’s cheaper than Hilton. If you stay longer it’s best to use a «Service Apartment».

The Atrium apartments are reasonably priced around £70 per night and designed as a hotel room but with a mini kitchen and lounge area so perfect for a work break. There is no room service but there are many places to eat nearby and you have a kitchen. You can have your room cleaned for a small fee each day, the rooms are clean and modern and if you don’t need to be waited on hand and foot they are a great alternative to a noisy busy hotel.

when I was looking for a place for my sister to stay when she came from London. She’s quite a fussy bird, and likes to be in a hotel environment but with the option to cook food herself.
These serviced apartments were a godsend as they were reasonably priced and smack bang in the centre of town. Her space comprised of a good-​sized bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/​lounge space. In the kitchen they even supplied her with the basics like sugar and UHT milk. The staff were on hand to help her with anything she needed and they even looked after her luggage for 12 hours after check-​our at no extra charge. I can’t believe it only cost her £50 a night.
