I went to subway in Manchester and as I work for the NHS we used to get a kind discount, but I did not get any this time, we all like a bargain. I had the steak sub which is of the usual quality subway standard.

This subway was my saviour when I was dying of hunger! Sometimes when you’re really hungry and you’re on the streets, you see the sign of the place you want to eat in the most at, the joy you feel at that moment is unmeasurable! For me, it was this Subway. I relished my Sub and went away with a cookie on hand! Good staff and student discounts!

Is it possible for one Subway to actually be nicer than another one? Because if so I’d say this one is one of the better ones I’ve been to in Manchester. I suppose one thing I like is that it’s real ham rather than turkey ham, which is what I’m used to down in Rusholme, but since they do that everywhere that’s not Rusholme it has to be something more. I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s the staff, because they seem friendlier, nicer, and just more alive than the usual zombified automatons.

This is one of the many Subway restaurants located in the City Centre, this one stays open late at the weekend so you can be guarenteed a nice butty while waiting for a taxi home. Subway has a wide range of sandwiches or subs as they are known. You create your own by selecting the main filling and then picking the salad that goes with it. Overall its quick and easy. Pricewise the 6 inch ones are around £3 but footlong subs can get quite pricey. They ahve a range of confectionery and drinks to go with the sandwiches.
