I can’t actually rate this place highly enough. 5 stars doesn’t seem to do it justice. If you’re after delicious, authentic Chinese then look no further. It is very slightly on the expensive side but after you’ve tried the yummyness you’ll understand why.
I’ve made the horrible mistake of trying new take-​aways and always leave disappointed if it’s not from here. Don’t make that mistake.

I definitively agree with Angela’s review. It is a Chinese restaurant, but with a difference. Quality, authentic food from various oriental centres are all prepared and served with style. Absolutely delicious.
Its an absolute class above every restaurant in Manchester’s China Town. The soups are all amazing so I’d recommend them for a starter. For a main I’ve had the Beijing Chicken, which was almost £10 but worth it.
They also offer a separate menu for take-​aways, which is cheaper, and a free delivery service on all orders over £15.00.

It’s really difficult to put this amazing restaurant into a category. It doesn’t serve average Chinese cuisine, it serves some of the best Chinese cuisine I’ve tasted in Manchester, and it doesn’t stop there.
Laughing Buddha offers all kinds of Asian cuisines including Thai, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Singaporean and even Mongolian. The menu (once you get over the quantity of dishes and the squashed typesetting) offers the most varied and unusual choices I’ve ever seen. Where else can you try Shanghai Pork Pies (£4.90), Duck with Minced Prawn Stuffing (£12) or Mongolian Lamb (£10.80). Not only that, they have 9 different varieties of spare ribs and no less than 19 sauces to choose as accompaniments to your meal.
Unpretentious décor, authentic cuisine, and no sight of MSG anywhere. Winner.

One of the best chinese take-away’s I’ve ever eaten
After a one-​off saturday night order, an ‘LB’ has became a regular sat-​night household event. We are slowly but surely making our way through the fantastic mouth-​watering menu, and are yet to be dissappointed. Having not been to the actual restaurant I cannot comment on service or atmosphere, but as a delivery we have always enjoyed the great non-​greasy, reasonably-​priced eastern fare.

This is a fantastic place and I probably order take away from it far too much. It’s the first place I think of on a Friday evening if I can’t be bothered to cook, and it never lets me down. They have a great range of meats and sauces, and their vegetarian dishes (mainly the bok choi and spinach and sesame seeds) are super-​tasty.
Portions are massive (if you get starters you might burst), and prices are very reasonable. If you order food for collection, it’ll probably take about 10 minutes. Yum and indeed yum.
