This is one of many places I thought I had reviewed. obviously not. Right some people might think this place is a little pricey for breakfast or lunch. but the ingredients taste like they’ve been reaped or caught that day. Stepping in, you will find fridges that bare food on the go, and this is some creative stuff! On the top shelf are buckets of soups for £5.50…£5.50 for a soup you ask? Right these are a challenge to devour. I personally think they should place some kind of prize at the bottom of the pot for achieving their consumption. Their fillings vary from king prawn phở, packed with yummy noodles and veggies, chicken phở, and veggie or duck gyoza dumplings. Other items in the fridge, consist of creative sandwichs, fresh salads, granola pots, cakes and freshly squeezed juice. The hot Items at the counter bring a smile to my face… for Breccie they offer the generic croissants, Danish pastries and bacon butties. BUT the hot pots are where it’s at. The breakfast pot contains beans, runny egg, mushrooms, ham and tomatos. Like the coffee you can choose small large and XL portion. Their other hotpots are to die for too. yes die for. You have to fight tooth and nail to get one because they are so popular. Chicken nacho hot pot? Tasty chunks of goats cheese, chicken, beans and nachos floating in a yummy spicy broth. Other rare items include lamb goulash, curry and pies. So this is my only grumble. Staff are always pleasantly fab, food always tastes fresh .but some items are just not around long enough for you to grapple. But anyway, try this place out for a quick tasty healthy breakfast /lunch.(I prefer this downstairs one next to Paul’s hair world than the other one. seating arrangement Is more comfy.)

This is one of the healthy food brands in my opinion, although I always confused by this brand with Pret A Manger. I liked this place when they had the Frozen Yogurt years ago and we always had pot of frozen yogurt with the Superfood toppings when we were out shopping in Arndale Centre on weekends. It’s a shame they stopped doing the frozen yogurt later but it’s always a nice little place for some light snacks and refreshing drink. The dessert and food selection are light and healthy and that’s exactly what we need for a Saturday afternoon. It could just provide right dose of energy during the shopping but saving some appetite and space for the Saturday dinner. The sandwiches, the wraps, salads and desserts are very fresh. I recently discovered their Matcha Latte, which by far is best I had ever tasted. The first time I had it was in one of the Starbucks in Beijing 3 years ago and it was too creamy to cover the freshness of the Matcha. It destroyed the concept of the Matcha Latte for me because I am a big fan of pure Matcha. Until Recently, I had started trying Matcha Latte in some coffee houses in Manchester. The Matcha Latte in EAT is the best. It’s a perfect combination of Organic milk with fine quality Matcha and it brings the freshness of Matcha in a milky drink.

Oooh this place is getting all subliminal an’ sheeyat! Considering the mental age of most Arndale diners, they may as well have really gone for it and just called it ‘You are Really Hungry Come and Spend Your Money in Here’. Food & drink served without a view, whilst you breathe in recirculated air– oh man my tummy is rumbling already! No, hang on, that’s queasiness.
