Went there for a quick lunch break. I was seated and waited on immediately. The staff was very prompt and the food came out quickly and hot. Even during the lunch rush, I was able to get out in about half an hour. The pasta was cooked properly and well-seasoned. I’m looking forward to trying their pizzas.

I read the negative reviews but nothing else around here was appealing to us and Zizzi’s was close by. We were tired after our flight and the long drive to Canary Wharf so we took a chance. The food was absolutely wonderful and the place was bright and warm and the staff friendly. Prices were very reasonable, too! We split a gluten free pizza which delighted me since it had been forever since I had pizza. I’d recommend this place. I’ll probably have lunch there one day this week.

Great location, mediocre food, terribly unattentive service. We waited 30 minutes after being seated for our server to come by to take our order. We had some questions(like, «could we see the allergen menu» that they mentioned several times in the regular menu), which she answered in a very rushed manner and then left and never came back. Eventually I had to walk over to someone and ask them to please take our order. We were seated right next to the kitchen, and saw the chefs place our order for serving and call for service. 10 minutes passed with our food just cooling on a ledge before someone came and finally served the cold food to us. Typical tourist trap restaurant — bad service, so-so food, great location. Unfortunate, really, because it is such a beautiful location.

Had dinner there tonight. Good food & friendly staff. Good menu with good variety. Being from the U.S., I liked the idea of a small glass of wine or the large one. Nice touch. Had chicken with prosciutto on top. Would return.

I initially came here for a cup of coffee. We asked before if we could only drink(we werent sure about the food), and they told us that it was ok. Once seated at the terrace, we waited(because nobody came to take our order) until I had to ask if someone would be taking our order soon, then the person/manager/waiter, told us that drinks had to be order with a meal so, since we only wanted a coffee and we had been told that we could order just that, we left. Such a pity, the food looked so good but I can’t say the same for the service.

It was my worst experience up till now in all af London restaurants. We had a couple of friends coming over to visit from Geneva so we decided to go out to eat. As we were in the area and quite hungry we just went for it. We were seated immidiately and started going through the menu to decide. It seemed like it had nice traditional otalian food. So 10 minutes after we had decided what we wanted and called the waiter. Thats when it all started. He informed as that there was no dowe so they would not be able to make Pizzas or Rustik. Also a couple of other dishes were not available too. We decided to go theough the menu and find something else just to avoid loosing time going somewhere else. After another 15 minutes we had made up our minds and called back the waiter. As we started ordering she informed us again that a couple of dishes we wanted were not available also. We got even more frustrated but still said that we had lost 25 minutes and were really hungry so we might as well order anything left. So ten minutes after we had decided to go for simple pasta, a salad and a starter. Unfortunately as soon as the waiter came she told us once more that they could not make the salad we wanted(actually they could only make two fron the menu) and tge starter we wanted wasnt available either. We then just got a bit furious and left for Carlucios which was a five minute walk. In my opinion if ¾ of the menu is not available, you should inform customers as soon as they are seated. Loosing 35 minutes was not a pleasant experience. They should work on that.

There are a plethora of pizza restaurants in London many of them good. Zizzi in Canary Wharf is one of them. Idyllically located on the river, sitting outside at dusk in the summer is really nice. When it is getting cold grab a seat indoors where there is a little more hustle and bustle. Although busier inside there is a warming happy atmosphere that is comforting. The menu is traditional Italian, pizza, pasta and salad. I went with three friends and we had starters, mains and desserts with wine. All the individual dishes were excellent. The only problem was the time it took for the food to come out. They were very busy, but the food took ages to come, and it was difficult to locate our server to inquire about the whereabouts of our meal. This almost spoiled our evening, but I have been since when it was quieter and the food and service was spot on.

Nice location with a good view — especially brilliant during the day and when the sun it out. I like the food here, portions may not be the largest but the food is of good quality, especially the pizza and the risottos, the pizzas are all freshly made in their brick oven which really makes them better than some other places. As for the service, not much to shout about, would say it is decent, nothing spectacular, but not that slow that it is unacceptable. What’s more, they do the occasional promotion at Zizzi’s which makes it even better value.

Had a girls night out there. Good service, excellent food and value for money(Had 241 vchr) I chose Linguine Gambaretti — just spicy enough to make it interesting. And all the puddings on the table(5 different ones) were yummy! Noise level was good, so no need to shout and one could have a good chat — maybe because it was a wet, cold Tuesday evening?

The location can’t be beat. The view over the river, especially on a sunny day when sitting outside, is great. The prices here are fair although the two times I’ve visited the service was a bit slow. The food really is good. I’ve been here in a group twice and sampled several different dishes. Everyone raved about what they had ordered and enjoyed their dishes thoroughly. I really enjoyed the brick-oven baked pizza and would be hard pressed to order anything else there!

Situated overlooking the Thames, this is a great place for food. I’ve heard some negative comments about customer service here before, but my experience was fine. My particular favourite thing was the smashing banana waffle — totally amazing!!!
