Have been in here many times now. I’m glad to say the lovely atmosphere and extremely friendly bar staff keep us coming back.
Personally I like nothing more than wondering around Greenwich market with my other half and my dog and then nipping in here for a glass of red.

This place is a few buildings off the park on the corner. When we went the service wasn’t super friendly, but I think that was ‘part of the experience’. We had our drinks and left. Not terrible, but I think we will keep looking for a pub we fully enjoy.

Lovely pub, mixed crowd, nice to just sit with a friend, or just having a drink whilst meeting new ones.
If you go there in the day, take the sit that’s next to the big windows, front window. Lovely pace to just sit and read. [who said pubs are just for drinking].
ps: do not go in the downstairs toilets. they are vile, filthy. really are. go upstairs. it’s clean.

This is an alright pub. It’s a gay pub, which don’t get me wrong has never stopped my from going in, but it’s not exactly on my radar if I’m with a straight crowd. Because it’s really not that great.
There’s a few choices of lager (there may have been ale, but I honestly don’t remember), the occasional drag queen, and well, that’s all that sticks in my mind about the place really. I’m not blown away, but if I ended up here, I wouldn’t mind so much. There are certainly better pubs in Greenwich.

Gay pub? Well a few months ago my partner came across this pub and asked that question after tripping over the gay press mags on the floor and got the reply No, it’s not a gay pub. This week we both popped in for a quick drink as we were in the area, and I would say it is a gay pub. No matter if it is or not it’s still a pub that we would come back too if we find ourselves back in the area. Good quick service, décor is easy on the eye, OK selections of drinks and nice views from the windows. Shame that Greenwich Council has forced this pub to removed the few tables and chairs it had outside on the pavement, the pavement is wide enough. Boo to Greenwich BC.

No longer a gay bar, this very central pub has been re-​invented again as a tourist friendly venue. It’s been given a pleasant refurbishment and been rammed to capacity with seating. It looks like it will be busy at weekend lunchtimes but may have to work hard to get the locals

Wunderbares Pub in Greenwich, gute Auswahl an Bier und Wein. Habe dort sehr guten Wein empfohlen bekommen. Das Pub ist etwas abseits vom Touristenpfad, klein aber irgendwie bekommt man dort immer einen Platz.

A great little pub that you should visit if you would like a quiet drink, away from all the hustle and bustle of daily life. I used to go here when i used to work in the area. I have only been in during the afternoons though, due to the rough area its in, but i would definately go again if im in the area. Not one of the hidden gems of london but you could do worse. Its pretty a standard pub. It doesnt really have any USP’s but if your after a no frills pint, then why not pay this pub a visit.
