British menu served all day. Brilliant services, very strong brand heritage atmosphere with their signature products laying out in the café. I really like the deco of Thomas, and of course the scones and tea! The clotted cream is full of flavour however the jam is just average. The scones comes within a bag which is very nice presented. 1 potion contains 2 fruity scones and a plain one. Enough for two to share if u just want a light bite! I got a table near the window at friday. The venue is quite big so need to worry about the reservation though. Overall it is a very lay back afternoon with nice London street view outside of windows. My friend and I really enjoy it.

My husband and I enjoyed afternoon tea at Thomas’s yesterday. Here are the details: Ambiance is beautiful. The restaurant wasn’t too busy at 3:30pm and thus is great if you are looking to have a nice conversation and not feel rushed. Service is fantastic. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and was great with suggestions. Food is excellent. My husband had the seasonal flight of teas, which he enjoyed greatly. He also enjoyed the scones and jam and said they were delicious. He never says that so his comment speaks volumes. I had a lemon /ginger tea and it was refreshing. Prices are high, but aren’t too high considering the level of service and unique offerings. I would definitely return on my next trip to London! I highly recommend.

I used to like this restaurant a lot, especially their afternoon tea set. Unfortunately, our experience last night was not pleasant at all. First of all, one of the spoons on our table was extremely dirty with food left on it. I believe the waitress who helped us changed the spoon was shocked as well. Secondly, the other waitress who served me my salad spilled the salad on my table. She whispered a sorry, but she did’t cleaning it up. Thirdly, I asked for some bread, but she totally forgot about it. As I asked the other waitress about this, she shouted to her that«Yeah! I forgot her bread!!» I guess the location of our seat just made me too observant. We were sitting next to the bar area, and overheard the«bartender» said«damn it!» in Korean. Also, the waiter walked out of the kitchen with checking on his cellphone. It annoyed me by hearing the waitress singing with the song played in store as well. If Thoma’s is meant to be a family styled one with relaxing atmosphere, it might not seem too improper, but as it locates inside of Burberry, I assume the team be more professional and appropriate. I am not sure if it’s unusual in the UK, but I refused to pay the 12% service fee included in our bill; and the above reasons are what I told the waitress since she indicated that a call to her manager was needed to avoid the service fee for us.

Came here yesterday for a late lunch. When I booked a asked for a table next to the fire and was duly obliged. There is nothing better than a lovely warm fire on a miserable rainy day! The service was impeccable. I was shown to my table, and was approached several times by multiple staff to ask if I wanted anything throughout the meal, which I thought was very good. Our server Gosia was very pleasant and helpful. The room is bright and open with lots of space. The menu is limited but I could still find lots of things I wanted to eat. It was quite empty for a Saturday afternoon. We both had the half lobster which came with salad and chips and was very reasonably priced at £14 as mentioned elsewhere. The lobster portion was just right for a light lunch. We had a couple of glasses of champagne(why not?) which pushed the bill up a bit, but the meal and service added up to a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back.

Went here recently with a delightful friend and found everything to be ‘just right’. We were seated right by the fireplace which no doubt added to the homely atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed the Salmon fishcake with spinach and hollandaise sauce. Meanwhile my friend opted for a traditional fry up which looked delicious! The waiting staff were impeccable throughout and were attentive with topping up our water! I must say, the Malvern Hills spring water is one of the nicest I have tasted and I will be returning soon to try the lobster!
