Dulwich is posh. Everywhere you go there are posh little shops that cater to super wealthy clients. It’s not too easy to find a café that won’t set you back at least a tenner for a basic English breakfast. After hunting for miles I was lucky enough to track down one of the last remaining or first appearing not too expensive, yet good cafes in the whole of the borough of Dulwich. The Lane Café offers a full English for a fiver and to make matters even better the price includes a cup of tea. It is a lovely place where you can chill and have a hearty bite to eat. The staff is delightful. I was chatting it up with the waitress while she was making my mocha. She was probably one of the coolest chicks I’ve talked to in a while. This is a great neighbourhood café.
