Legendary blues and rock venue on the Richmond Road out of Kingston towards Richmond. Sells one or two Young’s beers but that isn’t really the point. Comedy, live music, and now open mic nights as well make it a destination place in Kingston’s vibrant live music scene. There are three venues really the front bar, the front ‘hall’ and the back one known as the Ram Jam Club, which used to specialise more in jazz but since then the distinction has become blurred.

A fun pub with the normal selection of Young’s beers with a wide age range of people all getting on and having a good evening. Quite a small bar at the front with a large room at the back where bands or comedy events happen regularly. There a small outside area at the side with a few tables, but I wouldn’t call it picturesque. The only word of warning is that if you didn’t want to hear a band playing, the front bar can be quite noisy when the door between the front and back is opened. This is opened quite often as the toilets are in the back room and it’s the route to get outside for a fag if you are watching a band :-) However if you don’t mind that, this is a really nice pub, it hasn’t been ponced up like many Young’s pubs in the area, so it worth a visit regardless of age.

This is such a nice place for everyone, just behind Kingston’s train station you can find this friendly live music pub, where the old and young can be together. You always get live music during the week which goes from jazz jams, to acoustic nights and tribute and cover bands all in one place! The staff is friendly and if you just want to have a beer and listen to some bands or people singing well known tunes you can find them here, you can even maybe listen to a new future mainstream band! The place has it all, nice ambience, all kinds of music, open minded audience and people that will always be nice to you. You can even borrow a guitar to play something if you dont have your own! Also a plus for this nice place is that just behind the backdoor there is the ram jam club, which features also music, comedy and it is also available for private hire. If you want to rest from the crowded places in central london or just want to try something different you should try the Grey Horse, you wont be dissapointed

This pub is always full of people with a love of live music and comedy. Sunday night is always lively, but then so are most. The young and old flock here, so don’t worry about your age!
