McCluskys

I love McCluskys (or Crusty’s as it is often referred) as it’s completely no nonsense.
You want to drink, dance and laugh? then this is the place for you!
You want to shimmy around like a poodle at crufts or find some cheap girl to go home with for some unprotected fun times? Perhaps even get stabbed? Then this is not the place for you (try Oceana).
McCluskies has themed nights so there’s always something for everyone from dressing up to music genre.
I must agree with the other reviews though, the bouncers are awful. This is the only reason I’ve rated ⁴⁄₅ rather than a full five. They’re incredibly rude to all men and push blokes around when they can. They often say very rude sexual compliments to women and often choose to ignore when loud mouthed females get physically violent. Just in general they can quite easily ruin the entire experience.
My friends phone got stolen not so long ago and they chose to ignore them because she was drunk but she had only been drinking lemonade all night. At other points though I have seen them pushing people down the stairs, kicking down toilet doors and just generally terrifying people.
This all being said, I have found this with many bouncers, not just those at McCluskys.
It’s a great place for a night out clubbing, just keep your mouth shut around the bouncers.

cheesiest club in kingston by far. Had a good night in there though, would definitely recommend it if you are absoloutly wasted and dont want to go home.

If you can ignore the general crowd in here and can focus on your friends then this can be a good night. Music isn’t too bad and the drinks are cheap. Always better to go here in bigger crowds or with friends who won’t leave your side, as this isn’t where you want to be solo.
Bouncers can be rude so don’t get on he wrong side of them.
Indie nights are done here once I week and I have actually seen the futureheads play here — £5 gig I thought was awesome.

If you fancy a tacky night out, this is it. If you don’t want a serious night, just a laugh and quite a few drinks, you’ll have a good one!

A good little club this. if you over 25ish… cheese 80’s music plenty to sing along to, wham and plenty of girls aloud too.
Not full of children and it doesnt take a week to get a drink either.
Plenty of cocktails and a resturant, the food is ok kinda harvester like. Over all somewhere us slighty older folk can shake our bootie to frankie!

Hmm… what to say about McCluskys. Well, it is certainly not the best place… It is more of a «last option» club. They play horrible music, the dancefloor is too big concidering that there are never more than 10 people dancing. The place is very trashy in a way, it has no class what so ever. I wouldnt be surprised to se someone dressed in a paper trash bag at McCluskys.
If I had to mention 1 good thing about McCluskys it would be the atmosphere. Even though the place is very cheap and not fancy in any possible way, the atmosphere is at the highest. People seem to have more fun at McCluskys than in any massive London club. Either you love Mcluskys and visit on a regular basis, or you absolutely hate it and would never concider even thinking about it ever again after visiting. What ever the case is… it is worth a visit… it is truely an experience…

McCluskys is a nightclub in Kingston which is a bit of a love it or hate it place. They play cheese music, have only one big room and is never ever packed, but if you like that then this place is paradise!
Though some might see it never been packed to the rafters as a bad thing, if you don’t like a place where you lose your friends and have to queue up for an hour to get a drink then this is the place for you. The bar staff are fun and friendly and they make a great cocktail. It’s also really reasonably priced and you could have a really good night out for twenty pounds which is rare in these parts!
The security are very efficient and quickly deal with any trouble. It’s only 5 pounds to get in after 11 oclock. Before that it’s free and if you can get a flyer then it’s free all night! If you email ahead you can also get large groups onto the guestlist which means your group can get in free or at least for a discount.
McCluskys often have competitions and events such as ‘I’m a Celebrity’ where clubbers are invited up on stage and try certain ‘delicacies’ for prizes.
If you want a good, cheap, fun night out then McCluskys is the place for you.
