One of my favourite places in Twickenham and St. Margarets for a late, weekend, Full English Breakfast. Whilst I’ve been here many times I’m a little embarrassed to say I don’t know the owner’s name(I must ask next time), but he is always friendly and was especially good when we took the girlfriend’s parents there. The breakfasts are good value(bearing in mind the neighbourhood) and tasty. If you get a window seat or one of the benches on the pavement it is a great place to watch St. Margarets go by.

I went a short while ago for my unique birthday supper and will only point out that this place is remarkable, Divin, fabulous, superb. There likely aren’t enough adjectives to explain this places grace. there was starters, mains and desserts and all sorts of four of us had almost nothing to complain about, for our neighbors, saying a lot and we were still discussing regarding how good it absolutely was today. Our waitress was talkative and revealed his opinion on the menu and that is something I greatly truly appreciate and the chef turned out to communicate in to us that is something If only more places would do since it shows a concern and appreciation with the customers. Service was friendly and proficient too. A wine was recommended for the dishes we had chosen and bread, butter and water was proferred rapidly. Mains included a variety of dishes, I don’t recall what everyone had as most of us started sharing food which has a delighted become perfectly truthful, I think this is my new favourite restaurant.

St Margarets is slightly quieter than Richmond and Twickenham and thankfully pretty free of chain coffee shops. Sunshine and Ravioli is one of the main coffee shops on the high street. It has great freshly made sandwiches, friendly staff and nice coffee too. It used to be my cappucino and toast pit stop every morning before I moved away — but I definitely recommend it for lunch if you’re in the area!
