Authentic Turkish, right down to the awful music. Really worth the visit, food is brilliant. This is my 3rd visit.

Visited here after a colleagues recommendation, and wow am I pleased we did! An unassuming corner location leads to a large welcoming space– nothing fancy at all, but a friendly welcome from the staff, and the piles of skewered meats in the front were a welcome site. Menu has all the standard Turkish dishes you’d expect– donee kebab, hummus, koftas etc, but had a great variety of mixed dishes. Our starter was the yaprak sarma, or stuffed vine leaves. There were filled to the brim, and the rice mixture inside was flavoursome and moist. For mains we ordered the iskender, which was a marinated kebab dish served over a yogurt sauce with sliced bread. The meat was mouth watering, nicely spiced and the combination with the cooling yogurt was spot on. The sarma lamb beyti was a sort of spiced lamb mince patty wrapped and baked in pastry, served beautifully with a robust tomato sauce and dollars of more cooling yogurt. I should also mention the massive flatbread fresh from the oven that we were served at the start, with an array of salad, olives, spicy salsa and a cucumber dip. Fantastic, delicious, filling and amazing value for money. Will certainly be back, and highly recommend to anyone looking for quality food at very decent prices. Only reason for 4 stars is the service, although friendly, was a bit inattentive.

Affordable yet very delicious foods, staffs are accomodating, good, efficient and quick service, loads of gastronomical choices to cater to your salivating buds, about 10 – 14 mins walk from bow church station, probably less on a faster not leisurely pace, or you could take bus 8 from stop e towards roman road, enjoy :)

Delicious and very reasonably priced. Popped in here after a game of tennis in Victoria park, expecting some bog-standard kebab, but was delightfully surprised to receive an absolute feast. My bro and I went for the fish menu, which consisted of a HUGE mezze course, with giant inflatable flat bread, followed by a delicious peace of salmon served with salad and chips. Very friendly and efficient service. An unexpected gem of a place on Roman Road. Highly recommend!
