It is what it is: just simple café food. If you want a Michelin star go elsewhere. My breakfast was great: simple and filling. But the star of this show is the coffee. OMG, the best café mocha I have ever had! Only taking a star away because of the cramped confines. And prepare to share your space, but the couple beside us were fellow Sherlock fans, so it was all good.

Muy rico y a precio muy razonable. El hecho de ser el «bar de Sherlock» es un plus divertido.

Visiting a friend in London and she brought me to Speedys because I’m a Sherlock fan. It’s good bang for your buck! Huge breakfast for only 5 pounds! Can’t say it’s the best food in the world, and the table are a bit cramped, but other than that it’s worth a go just to take a photo beside Sherlocks door. They change the number while filming, but it’s the same door!

It started with Sherlock and it ended with visiting Speedys almost once a week. Sometimes for breakfast and a chat with friends or family or just for a Mocca to go. Every time I went there the staff was really really friendly and chatty. The food quality is good, both thumbs up for that. I often went for the Mixed Grill Breakfast as I’m not into baked beans or Egg, Liver and Bacon. Also, if you get the chance, try the fantastic Seafood Risotto. It was on the ‘Special Menu’ that changes after a few weeks but if you can, get it ;) The prices are also really good for Central London. If you’re looking for a good english breakfast for a reasonable price, this is the place. If you go there during lunch time on a working day it can be busy as hell. The only thing I would change is to open on Sunday as well, even if just for a few hours. I think lots of tourists would go there. And be careful, the opening hours on Saturday are until 1:30! A lovely place to go, if you’re a Sherlock Fan or not. I will miss going there.
