Good old fashioned authentic boozer reminiscant of a time when Kilburn was mostly Irish. Some people might be put off by the drawn curtains and the outdate looks but once you get past that it is actually quite welcoming. Everybody seems a regular and everybody has a story to tell. Unprententious and honest. Love it

If you ever get the urge for everyone to stop what they are doing a stare at you like you was an alien, stop in here. I a lovely little pub and everybody is friendly. The Landlady(Mary) is a saint but woe betide any one that would even dare to try and cross this women, last of a dying breed or Peggy Mitchellesque in her stature and authority. when they not showing the sport the place gets like you stepped into a alternative time and place where everybody is drunk and at least 65. I like the place because its not out of the way but nobody notices it at all. and the beer is mega-cheap compared to the place immediately around the gaff. I like it because of its fragile nature in such a rough part of the town. It’s almost like a community centre for adults over 60… i still like it though
