This restaurant’s review are all fairly old and unfortunately out of date. On Sunday I fancied some good Italian comfort food so I decided to come in and have something. I ordered a pizza Margherita and some water(I am in a tight budget situation). Pizza costed £6.95. It would have been a great prize if the pizza was a decent one but it WASN’T. I had a overpriced defrosted pizza style in a restaurant. On top of this, water arrived only when I remixed the waitress. And the place was empty — I was the only costumer. Just avoid it.

This is probably a half review as I only had a starter. I was late meeting my friends for dinner. Oops. I has the aubergine, mushroom and goats cheese Bruschetta. It was nice. Can’t complain. Little dry and would have been nice with a balsamic syrup or something. But it wasovely and came on a nice bread. My friends had main meals. They really njoyed theirs, althought they said the seafood pasta wasnt as good as the other dishes. This is a nice place becasue it is right next to the Tricycle Theatre/Cinema. So its great to grab a bite here first. And they are pretty speedy. They dont waste time which is good.

Visited this place twice when we stayed in London, I’ve got to say hands down to the best pizza, pasta, and desserts at Casareccia. I can still taste it… Now I’m back home in California and trying to find a similar place like this. But can’t beat their firewood oven that makes their food taste sooo great!

The pizza here is yummy! They have a wood-fired oven and the result is simultaneously crispy and melt-in-the-mouth. I love the Vesuvio pizza in particular. It is kind of like a calzone, as it has dough on the top and the filling in the middle, except it isn’t folded in half. It looks like a volcano(hence the name ‘Vesuvio’) when they bring it out, because when they pull it out of the oven the dough rises towards the middle where there is a hole filled with olives. Awesome! The pizza is filled with ham, artichoke hearts, olives, anchovies, basil leaves, mushrooms and baby tomatoes. Sooooo delish! I have never tried any of the non-pizza dishes, but all the pizza is good and the portions are huge and the prices are cheap — you can get a 16″ pizza for between £10−13. The garlic bread is basically like a small pizza sans tomato sauce and loaded with garlic(and cheese, if you like). Oooh, also, you can get a half carafe of wine for £6 which is always a bonus! The place itself is small and cozy, with dim lighting and candles. It’s a great place to go on a date. It’s also nice that you can sit outdoors in the summertime(even if it does face directly onto Kilburn High Road). Once when I was eating outdoors here, Paul Nicolls(from Eastenders, remember?!) was at the next table… get me rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous…*ahem*… ;) Anyway, yes, go eat here it is good and cheap and tasty and fresh. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars!

Distinctly average. Close to The Luminaire so we went there for some pizza before a gig. While the staff were nice, and the menu very varied, the food itself was pretty tastless and made me wish I’d just gone to Pizza Express!

I can’t believe just how amazing this place is. Always having eaten in central London as a regular commuter for work purposes we decided to venture out of the city and stumbled across this Italian Oven. What can I say, the food was mouth watering. Fresh, well prepared and tasted absolutely amazing. I haven’t had a true pizza like this before. The smoky taste from the woodfired oven makes it very authentic. The staff were amazing, the manager was lovely. He made us feel welcome and at home with great conversation and a smile. Somewhere I will visit again and again and will recommend to all friends/family and colleagues. Get yourselves there if you want to experience a little Italian culture in London! They also have loads of excellent offers on, so check out their website.

Casareccia provides a taste of Italy for all Kilburners. The pizzas are really great, cooked fresh in their wood-fired oven. If you’re concious about the environment then you can be safe in the knowlegde that the wood they use in their oven that creates an amazing smokey taste is taken from ecologically managed forests. heir rustica pizza is gorgeous and it would be a crime not to finish off your with a traditional tiramisu. The prices are really good, you can get a 16″ pizza for under a tenner and they’re plenty big enough to share between two. The staffe are friendly and welcomming and the restaurant is quite cute looking.

Certainly the best restaurant in the area, Casareccia is one of the best restaurants I’ve visited in London in ages. It’s a cosy little placed on Kilburn High Road, with a small terrace out front and an open plan kitchen in the back. Although the food was very good, the outstanding service really makes this place something special. The people who served us went out of their way to make us feel at home, and(shock!) even engaged in some witty banter. Casareccia offers traditional Italian food and a good selection of wines, all reasonably priced. I’d recommend Casareccia unreservedly.

If you find yourself hungry near kilburn high road, then seek this place out for some real italian cuisine! the place is small and not terribly fancy, but its cosy and has a nice patio outside for those summer nights. The food is fantastic but what really stands out is the friendly and efficient service, you are well looked after and treated like friends, our waiter(possibly owner) made us feel like he had all the time in the world for us and the place was packed! In London great service can be a rarity so it was a pleasant suprise! They have a wide selection of italian dishes, I had their speciality pizza which was delicious and very filling, wood fired with very fresh ingrediants. Price wise its not cheap but I felt I got great value for money. Try the Mozzarella and tomatoe salad its better than any I tried Italy!
