See Sushi

Easy going Japanese foods. There’s bento boxes, sushi, sashimi, ramen, donburi etc. So nothing out of the box (bento pun). But they are done in a flavourful way and presented nicely.
The agedashi tofu needed some more sauce but it was double fried and really crispy. There is a lot of fried options through the menu which is good if you like that kind of thing. The bento box had a protein, gyoza, a croquet, salad and rice. No sushi piece. But the gyoza addition was good. No surprises really just good, commercial Japanese comfort food.
On Mondays you get 25% off which makes your meal excellent value.
It’s not the most beautiful of decors but the chairs are comfortable and the place is clean. It would be a nice place to go and eat at on a sunny summers evening when you can sit outside and take advantage of the people watching potential here on the river square.

Sushi was pretty good but fairly pricy. I enjoyed my experience but since i work nearby I’ll probably be back soon

Meh. I went at 9pm on a Wednesday — not the freshest of times I suppose. The place was relatively empty and I was seated quickly and promptly waited 15 minutes until my order was taken. The ebi nigiri was tiny and rather fishy (maybe late in the day?). The rainbow roll had squid on top — something I’ve never encountered in the states. It was fine. Refreshing and light.
I’ve had sushi all around the U.S. and Canada but never before in the UK. I must say the roll was the smallest and most expensive I’ve encountered but perhaps that’s the standard here. I haven’t experienced that in other cuisine however.

I have eaten in several international Japanese restaurant but such as this one very few. The only problem with the place you do not feel you are in Japanese restaurant strongly however it is worth 5 star for the cost of it.

Really good sushi in a nice and tidy restaurant. A bit slow service, but all in all a good sushi restaurant.

A very good sushi restaurant tucked away, off the main street. We had Salmon sashimi which tasted like it could possible have been still swimming in the sea that morning, and a giant bowl of chicken katsu ben which was eggy and delicious.
The service was a little ‘restrained’, both of our servers seemed a little awkward and I suspected that they hadn’t been doing it too long. The atmosphere is quiet, relaxing but a tad sterile, the same music seemed to playing on repeat for the hour we were there and there were very few other people in the restaurant.
Overall, great food and a nice place to come… certainly worth the 10 minute walk from Paddington to get real, non-​yo sushi.

I was in the area today with clients and popped in for some lunch. A great find! I had the grilled gyoza followed by the salmon teriyaki bento box! Beware, there is loads with the main so perhaps skip the starter!
It was great overall! Really nice staff and overall experience. I’m in the area at least once a month so will be back here for sure!

GREAT sushi restaurant! It is just like sushi restaurants in america. The chicken dumplings and the vegetable tempura are delicious. Glasses of wine are inexpensive. Their sushi rolls are incredible — I strongly recommend the spicy tuna and the eel. They also have green tea ice cream and fried bananas for dessert!
