Recently renovated, this Nandos is pretty good :) As there really isn’t much in the area, there not much to compete with. They have a great open environment that makes it good for groups, or just a catching up with some friends, though not a cozy environments, so I wouldn’t recommend it for dates ;) The chicken burger(which is my regular) is what it is pretty standard average chicken as slightly inflated prices, though not enough to feel you’ve been ripped off. Yes, would recommend if you want a meal to fill you in where you can just chill

No-one cheeky here… Love me some Nandos on a working week night. Popped in here for dinner during a trip to London. Firstly the location is pretty handy and is only about 400m from Whitechapel tube. This Nandos serves Halal chicken so suits those with said religious dietary requirements. The service was very efficient with the maitre d’hotel also serving me at the till. Don’t forget that Nandos now have a loyalty scheme that earns you free goodies. This can be downloaded from all participating App Stores on your cellular device. I had the butterfly chicken with coleslaw and chips. I’m a creature of comforts and haven’t been let down by this combination yet. Give this Nandos a try. If you are with someone you should try the humous and putts dip as a starter, this is serious munch and is a cert to get you loving Nandos.

After a tiring Sainburys shopping I decided to hop in my local Nandos. It was raining outside and was a perfect time for a Hot Peri Peri Chicken. Service here is always amazing and food is top quality. Looking forward to my next visit, may be next week

This one is always full of customers. Sometimes people queue outside the restaurant! As a chain restaurant food and service must be always the same of course. I always choose extra hot even though I am allergic to chilli. Their new product is worth trying! Called boneless thighs maybe? Or something like that.

A British friend of mine recommended this place to me so I thought I’d try it out. I had been living off of frozen pizza and cereal for a week, since London is so damn expensive, so I thought this would be a treat. THEEXPERIENCE: Walking in, the layout is a little confusing, at least to me as a foreigner. It looks like you order when you walk in and then take it to your table. Except when I went to order I was stopped short by a waiter/host who then took me to my table and gave me a menu. I sat down, figured out what I wanted then asked if I was support to order through a waiter and they said I had to go to the front. So I unwillingly left my personal things at my table(out of sight) to go order my food at the front. When I got there the cashier asked me for my table number. There was a number on my table? I had no idea. So I had to walk back to my table and find it. Table 3. I walk back to the cashier, customers behind me hate me at this point. I then pay and get a receipt(my meal was £7.65 for a ¼ chicken and two sides) and sit back down. I wait maybe 10 minutes, nothing crazy and my chicken, peri chips(seasoned french fires) and cole slaw comes out. It all looks delicious. But wait I have no silverware or condiments or napkins. Did the waiter forget? I look around and realize it’s all at a bar in the center of the room. I have to leave my stuff, and my food again. I grab a fork, knife, napkins, my garlic sauce(recommended by my friend) and ketchup and head back to my table. There are waiters everywhere but I’m not sure what there job is exactly, other than to bring the food out. They don’t set tables or anything else. THEFOOD: The chicken was good I guess, it’s grilled, definitely needs garlic sauce even though I ordered(medium spiceyness level). It’s nothing to be over the moon about, slightly better than KFC. The coleslaw was good, lots of mayo but crunchy and fresh. The chips(french fries) were thick cut but seasoned nicely, needed ketchup though. CONCLUSION: Once I finished my meal I flagged down a waitress and asked if we bus our own tables or if they do it. Since I’d done everything else, I wasn’t sure. She smiled and said she would do it(didn’t really answer my question though). She probably thinks I’m a high maintenance American. In all honesty, I don’t mind the self service type of restaurants but they should explain the process if it’s your first time there. Most places like Soup Plantation will walk you through it a bit. Food was good, nothing crazy, or too delicious. The price was expensive for me, but reasonable. I suppose a meal like that would cost around $ 10-$ 12 in the US, here it was closer to $ 15. Would I go again? Yes??? I think so, but not often.

I used to eat here a lot years ago when I went to school in this part of town. The flavors are incredible, you can do no wrong with Nandos. Beware of the Hot Sauce. But this is a perfect place to go with your friends, grab a drink and sit around and chat over some of the best rotisserie chicken you can find! One of our favorite places to eat around Mile End.

Mmmm… I’ve been craving Nandos since I came back from Canada and haven’t indulged till now. Unfortunately my partner in crime forgot to request peri peri salt on our chips so they were tasteless as well as undercooked. The Superbock beer also tasted like spit. The Brazillian beer was much better and the chicken was delightful as usual(though I did insisted on mango and lime as I am a chicken too). But we did indulge in so much garlic sauce though. Thankfully we were only doing garlic burps at friends for the rest of the evening.

In the mood for a glass of wine, olives, and some… chicken? This place is a Portuguese styled restaurant influenced by South African flavors and culture. The food is pretty good, and the people here are unbelievably friendly and helpful! You get seated, look at the menu, then walk to the register and name your table, order what type of chicken and the sauce, as well as any sides. I’ve always ordered the wings with mango lime peri peri sauce, grilled corn and the macho peas. Love the fact that they are open late and serve alcohol and olives for your appetizer too. They are open until 11(thank goodness!) which totally saved my ass from starving a couple late nights in London’s East End.

Oh Nandos or as my boyfriend likes to call it Nomdos. This place is one of the best chicken places out there. The particular one that I am reviewing, however, could be a bit better in terms of service, but all in all it’s got the food that you desire, the atmosphere you want and the amazing sauces that are to die for. I love Nandos to say the least in an almost unhealthy way, but its one of my favorite places for a good eat and a great place to meet up with friends. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. My usual meal is a ¼ chicken with chips(peri peri salt… a MUST) and garlic bread. Then there is a choice of sauces on the side to dunk all you have into it such as garlic sauce, wild herb, medium, hot, extra hot, etc. Nandos is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in London and is worth every penny.

For a chicken place, they do a mean veggie burger. Their Peri Peri Hot Sauce and Garlic Sauces are pretty damn good. I love the fact that on their menu, they state that they do their best so that their chickens don’t come in contact with their veggie options, even by phone. LOL Their chips are pretty tasty too, and everything comes out pretty quickly, even on a busy night. LOVEIT!

Nando’s is great, not too far from Whitechapel station this branch also offers Halal Meat. Nando’s in general has tasty food, and I love the Peri Peri sauce! Extra Hot all the time which is great for those runny noses but beware can set your mouth on fire! I love the Peri Peri nuts and always nibbling on them at work. Staff here are great and food is served fairly quickly. Busy around lunch time and if there are loads of you, you’ll have to wait for tables. Not good if you are really hungry! Also have the take away option which is great if you’re feeling some Nando’s.

Don’t worry it has no strange forbidden connotations. The Nando’s is not too far from Whitechapel station so it is a nice starting point for an evening in East-Central London. My friends and me went there during period exams because we were dead hungry and as usual NOTIMETOCOOK. The Chilli chicken with rice was an art piece. I could not study for the rest of the night but it is a nice place, especially for students, to branch by when you are really hungry. I tried to finish the chicken but could not fit anymore in. I regretted though because it was really nice
