Lovely cocktails and great service. Just stopped in for drinks. Music a bit loud for 5.30 in the afternoon.

Lunchtime midday, not too busy. First impressions positive: seems like it should have been a decent-if-a-bit-pricey place. Ordered two of the lunch steaks + 3 rib-eyes. Three medium-rare rib-eyes came out(1) rare,(1) medium,(1) medium-well. Empanadas were… pretty iffy, if I’m honest. I’d be happy if I got them at M&S for a picnic, but as a hot starter… maybe not. Service was decent-to-good — friendly wait staff and generally attentive, unlike what everyone else here says. But inconsistent steaks in a steak house… no.

I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The Verde sandwich is great for vegetarians. My friend who is a picky eater also found the burger to be great. Happy hour cocktails for 9£ were a great deal.

Good burger for £ 10. Good atmosphere and prompt service. Might be a better place for drinks as the tables are quite small

A cool place to pop into when you’re on Brick Lane and not really in the mood for Indian food. We arrived during Happy Hour(2 for £9 drinks, including mojitos and caipirinhas). The waitress somehow misheard my order of mojito as «Long Island iced-tea» and a bit of uncomfortable awkwardness ensued. However, once that issue was resolved, we went on to have some very delicious empanadas. I was underwhelmed by the POLLOPROVENZAL. It was decent, but definitely could have used a rice side to accompany it. The mashed potatoes were tasty, however.

Good food, good prices that can be a good alternative to all the curry restaurant in the area. Portions could be bigger :)

Recently had lunch here. Great little find on a busy street. Service and presentation was good and the menu was expansive and interesting. We all sampled some sandwiches grilled Argentinian style and frankly speaking I’d love to rate this place higher but the food was on par with the price but didn’t exactly knock your socks off when it came to taste and freshness. Generally speaking it was clean and the ambience was good. It got busier for lunch during the time we sat there. Given what’s nearby this just might be somewhere different and unique to meet for a quick bite to eat.

We were greater warmly enough, sat right away and given menus– though service was a bit slow and inattentive the rest of our visit. We tried the empanadas to start– the beef one left a little something to be desired, but the sweet corn one(which was mostly a cheese filling) was quite nice. We each ordered the sandwiches– I opted for the chorizo, served on a lovely ciabatta with a nice herby garlic spread. Though a touch greasy, the flavour hit the spot. Chips were only ok– tasted rather like frozen to be honest. Overall, good food in a comfortable and fun atmosphere– I’ve heard they do a good happy hour here so would probably come back to check it out. Pretty good prices as well, meal for two(no cocktails) around £30.

A new style of restaurant has opened along Brick Lane, and they don’t sell curry. This Argentinean restaurant has taken over a former restaurant space that had been vacant since I moved here almost 2 years ago. It pleases me to see something in that space, especially something that goes against the norm for Brick Lane. We did not stay for supper, but instead took advantage of their Happy Hour drinks and a couple light starters. The service was great, even if they didn’t have quite as many gins as their gin menu advertised. I look forward to coming back for a full meal.
