I’ve been a long time client of Stewart’s when he was working at Frith Street. I wanted an extension to my sleeve and booked in to Modern Classic which he now co-​owns. Needless to say I am 100% happy with the quality of work. I couldn’t be more proud of my sleeve. The shop is modern, incredibly clean and bright but with a really traditional look and feel. The artwork on the walls reflects the history of tattooing and you really feel as though you are part of that heritage. The team in the shop were friendly and welcoming. Tattoo shops can be very intimidating places but Modern Classic couldn’t be more different. High end tattoos, world class artists, amazing shop, great atmosphere.

Modern Classic Tattoo is a relatively new studio opened by Stewart Robson and Valerie Vargas, formerly of Frith Street Tattoo. I was a long term customer of Stewart while he was at Frith Street, so now I attend my appointments at Modern Classic instead. Stewart and Valerie are supported by a rotational team of tattoo artists from across the country, one per week. The standard of tattooing is absolutely Triple-​A, and they’ve really made the most of the space in the shop. The decoration is bright and modern, the level of hygiene is 5-​star and privacy screens are available to those who need them. I always feel comfortable and at ease here, which is a huge bonus when getting extensive tattoo work done!

Went in here when I just moved to Fulham and had no expectations beside that the shop looked really good and my first impression was that this was a good place to get a tattoo while living here.
Talked to Valerie who was so nice and cool and is was no problem at getting an appointment. Came back a week later and got tattooed by Soap. Really good and I’m very happy about my new ink.
Really relaxed shop but very professional.
Definitely coming back soon :)
