Excellent café right next to Queensway station, food is homemade and tea was wonderful! We came here after we waited at the Orangery for 20 mins, much more pleasant service!

In the heart of major tourist land, this family owned café is a great place for a quick bite. Mom and pop man the place and run a tight ship. I was drawn here by the big sign announcing that they serve Marine Ices ice cream. So, I emerged a few minutes later £1.50 poorer but clutching a tub of yummy lemon sorbet. Perfect place to pick up something to counter the sun for my stroll through Hyde Park.

On a recent visit to London, we stayed in Bayswater and found this café down the street from our hotel. While it’s not gourmet Italian food, it will tame your hunger and leave money in your pocket. For less than 5 pounds, the fella and I each enjoyed a panini and coffee. There was limited seating, so we secured an outside table and enjoyed the fall day. They were sold out of the vegetarian sandwiches, so I settled for a chicken panini. It wasn’t spectacular, but I’m also someone who rarely eats meat. My guy liked his sandwich and really loved his latte. Overall, a nice little place that I’d definitely visit again. Hopefully, it would be warm enough to enjoy some gelato from the cute place next door!
