La Cabana

The steak I got was okay. But what really makes this place great is the amazing service. Hajar and the other server (whose name slips my mind) were so sweet and very welcoming.
After being in London for only a day and being a newcomer, I had lunch at a place right across the street with the most horrible customer service I’ve ever had (see my review on Tuk Tuk Thai Noodle House). Anyway, this place was great. Though, I don’t really get why this place is classified as Moroccan because the menu doesn’t seem Moroccan to me.
Like I said, I had the steak (it was good) and it came with peas and carrots (two of my most-​hated veggies) and I actually enjoyed the veggies. The salad left something to be desired.
Their service is prompt and they refill my water right when I finish my glass (this is important to me).
I will come back to this place and try their Pasta Carbonara because the table next to me ordered it and it looked/​smelled delicious.

This Moroccan place, using the title of La Cabana, is Moroccan cuisine at its finest, and decorated in the style of Morocco — tents, pillows, lanterns, all kinds of these little touches are in evidence and it adds up to give you a thoroughly unique experience. Restaurants on the Queensway have to do alot to stand out from any one of the others, and this place does that in style. Look for some excellent Mixed Grill meals on offer if you’re stopping by for a meal. Do not look for an unsatisfied face — you might not find it!

Queesway is lined with so many restaurants, mostly Middle Eastern but also a few Chinese and fast food places. La Cabana is one of my favcourite restaurants in the area and eating here is a totally memorable experience. Every time I go to La Cabana I’m always feel like I’ve travelled to some exotic place like Marrakesh. The lanterns, tent, cushions helps to give La Cabana a really authentic feel. The food is really good too and not expensive which is always a bonus for me! I love rice dishes so this place is perfect for me because most dishes are serviced with rice. The mixed grill is a really good value for money at £12.95 and the lamb tagine is delicious. La Cabana is a great restaurant with excellent food, brillant service and a lively atmosphere! What more could you ask for in a restaurant?
