Worst restaurant I’ve ever been and I’m not just saying. The owner was trying to be funny but he was actually ridiculous. Good place to WASTE your money. Too bad I can’t give 0 stars.

Another great meal here. Family run restaurant. Vibrant enthusiastic staff. Food is always up to standard. And a great atmosphere once it gets a little later. Great to children too. A favourite local.

Honestly, after hearing so much about this place, I was expecting better. I was completely underwhelmed by my pasta, as were my friends who also had pastas and pizza. It’s a big, casual restaurant, so maybe it would be good for a large, rowdy party or big group, but for 4 of us, the food was really unremarkable. I won’t be back. For the money and in the area, I think La Strega on Fulham Road is a much better bet.

Not really sure what to make of this Italian. I’ve been here a few times and honestly had wildly different experiences on each occasion. The staff have been pretty much the only consistent — consistent in their niceness and efficiency but the food, it’s been both delightful and dreadful in equal measure — a bit like an S&M fetish. Mostly I choose the pasta and when it’s bad it has been overly al dente, dry and really rushed. Pagliaccio gets a lot of its business from families and there are often kid’s parties downstairs. Perhaps they have lost their way a bit with guaranteeing good food for the adults or perhaps sometimes they let the kid’s cook. Not a good(or safe) policy and it’s a shame because this could be a much better local restaurant.

I was recently invited out by a good friend of mine and she suggested Paggliacco’s in Fulham. Having never heard of the place, I had no idea of what to expect. We met outside and we walked in to be seated, choosing to sit outside in the comfortable«al fresco» area. The sign’s outside suggested that it was world famous and the roman statue on the street(dressed in a napkin to cover his pride) — gave an impression that this restaurant was going to be lively. Early impressions were that this is a family friendly restaurant with a relaxed and casual feel. Offering pizza and also a more extensive and typical Italian menu suggesting that they had something to suit everyone. We both went for pizza’s which whilst a fairly boring choice on our part, was cheap and cheerful but very good value and tasty. They are made fresh to order and are therefore«homemade» and felt like an Italian grandmamma might have given up her century old recipe for our benefit. Fellow diners all said their food was excellent. The waiters were attentive, friendly and slightly mad which made for a fun and enjoyable meal. We spent a very reasonable £50 for starter, main and drinks and had a great time enjoying the food, atmosphere and the slightly mad waiters entertaining us and our fellow diners. If you are looking for good food in a relaxed fun restaurant then give it a go. A family restaurant which will suit the Fulham yummy mummies but if you want a romantic dinner for two then I would suggest this place might be a little too lively and in your face. They also do «theme» nights — which offer a great night out for a special fixed price menu — the next one is an Elvis night on the 23rd October for £25 which includes a 4 course meal — check out for further details.

I went here on mothers day last year. Not a place I would have chosen without kids, however it was a family meal and the place looked very kiddie friendly. The waiters were friendly and played with the children and the kids loved it. For children a definite 10 out of 10! However for service, quality of food and everything else it was 1 out of 10. All the meals came at different times. The drinks took about 25 minutes, one of the meals was cold, the food was mediocre at best, and to top the evening off, when we asked for the bill because we were waiting to go home, they took about 30 mins to bring us our bill. Whilst it was good for the children, I can safely say that I will not be returning.

This place is so so. Probably more popular because of the atmosphere rather than the food, it is well known for its rowdy Italian waiters and loud shenanigans that happen most weekend evenings. If it’s your birthday(and you are a girl) you get a complimentary birthday cake in the shape of a phallus which you are forced to eat. Funny but not everyone’s cup of tea.
