Pleasantly surprised is how I would describe my experience at Hot Pink. I’m happy I was annoyed enough with the six-person deep queue at GBK next door and decided to venture to an unknown venue for some grub. I’m not sure of the origin of the name«Hot Pink» but there is a hot pink theme running throughout the restaurant here and there. Personally, I think the booths should have been clad in hot pink pleather, not red, but to each their own. Also, the restaurant sort of has an identity crisis going on. Is it a diner? Is it a healthy restaurant? I’ve determined that it’s a little of both which is awesome if the people in your party want a mix of food — some healthy, some not healthy. I ordered the chicken burger which was cooked really well. Nice and juicy. I opted to skip the secret sauce stating, «I don’t want to know the secret.» The brioche bun was soft and not dried out as I sometimes find in restaurants serving brioche buns. My husband ordered a burger — cooked medium — and it came out a bit more on the side of medium-rare than medium but we both agreed that it’s better to be medium-rare than to be medium-well or even well. Our sandwiches were accompanied with a side of curly fries(which tasted like curly fries from Arby’s!) and pita bread and hummus. Both delicious. To wash down our food, we, obviously ordered beer. I ordered the Fordham Copperhead Ale which was delicious. I’ve actually just placed an order on BeersOfEurope for a sixer of this delicious beer. My husband ordered the Hot Pink Lager and said, «Eh. Just a lager.» In short, Hot Pink is a great little place to get a quick bite to eat before seeing a show at the New Wimbledon Theatre.

I came in for dinner. The waiter was really nice albeit low key. The décor was fun. Really reminded of my favorite burger haunts in LA. I ordered the burger with a side of corn and spinach. The burger was juicy and tasty. It’s cooked medium rare but was delicious. They obviously have a good quality butcher. The fixings on the burger were fresh and crunchy. The steamed spinach was simple. It was served with lemon and I added some spicy seasoning available on the table. It did the trick, healthy and filling. The corn on the cob was my favorite. Cut in 3 pieces with a little bit of butter, the seasoning made it perfect. The price is acceptable for what you’re getting. I’m definitely going back to try more of the menu.

I really like this place for its ethical and healthful take on an American grill. The varied menu mean there’s something for everyone, from those who want indulgence to those who want something healthy but flavourful. The salmon is super tasty, as are the milkshakes, especially the espresso martini spiked shake!

The seabass stuffed with rosemary is one of the best dishes I have eaten. I love this restaurant as it has a really good mix of healthy options but also has some really delicious not so healthy options! Oh and the milkshakes, the milkshakes are amazing!

Hot Pink Grill is a smallish restaurant located on Wimbledon Broadway, close to Wimbledon Theatre and nestled between many known restaurants. I visited Hot Pink Grill on a Monday evening, the establishment was quiet; just 3 or 4 other groups in the restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant and the restaurant is decorated to a warm vintage/rustic feel. After checking out the menu with the whole 12 items, 72 combinations concept I went up to order. For a starter to share we decided upon Grilled Halloumi with the restaurants very own signature sauce, Hot Pink Sauce. A sweet yet spicy dipping sauce which complimented the warmly grilled halloumi cheese. For mains there are 12 dishes to choose from, from a hot pink beef burger to cumberland sausage and a 7 veg stack for all the veggies out there! We ordered two chicken burgers with sweet potato fries, garlic and herb dip and barbecue dip. The burgers were cooked perfectly and sat in a fresh wholemeal bun with salad and herb mayonaise. The sweet potato wedges were incredible, if you want a healthy alternative to fries then opt for these well seasoned wedges from heaven! Drinks wise, there’s a wide range of beers, wines and soft drinks. I liked the look of the milkshake menu so chose a vanilla and a PEANUTBUTTER&JELLYCRUNCH. I cannot vouch for this milkshake enough, definitely worth the £4.00! There’s just a small selection of desserts(hopefully more will be added seasonally). We chose the cheesecakes, honeycomb and strawberry & clotted cream. Both were amazing and I usually hate cheesecakes! So creamy! We stayed for over an hour which went so quickly, the staff didn’t mind us chilling out after our meal and were very hospitable, humorous and entertaining. Overall a delightful an affordable experience at Hot Pink Grill.

Needed a quick healthy bite and this did the job. Not sure what their theme is here it’s like a cafeteria crossed with a grill. The place was quite empty but expected in a Wednesday night. Service with a smile, although could have been a little faster considering there were only two other tables. Menu isn’t massive, but that’s the idea here — choose from chicken, fish or vegetarian and then choose your salad and then your sides. Variety of options such as chips, roasted veg or sweet potato fries. Had slushies on the menu but unfortunately the machine is waiting for a part and so won’t be available till March. That was a bit of a bummer! A tad expensive for what it is, but overall would go there again

We had good time last night. The«hot pink» burgers were great and the combo platter was as expected. Drinks range to be improved. Not much options.

This is one of those places that you’d love to love. It follows a Nando’s service template – free refills, place your order at the counter. This is fine by me – their fizzy drink selection was all own-brand, which is a bit peculiar. When you consider that this isn’t(currently) a chain, it doesn’t engender much confidence in the drinks. They were aight though. The menu also has a hook. There are three price points(I think it was £9, £11 or £13) for each meat – chicken, fish, pork/beef and veggie. With that price comes a side of your choice and a sauce of your choice. All good so far. The shortcomings were the food, unfortunately. It just wasn’t an awful lot better than Nando’s – which is over the road, incidentally. I had a chicken burger, which was reasonable, but it just didn’t smack of the freshness you’d hope for. The fries were up to scratch, but no better than that. I ordered a barbeque sauce, which was genuinely rancid. I thought it had been tainted by soap and said so to the waiter, but he said it was intentional – a ‘work in progress’, and their saucier was refining as he went. The only flavour I got was Toilet Duck. A word of merit though for their grilled halloumi, which was ace – but I think I could probably make it as well for myself. So, no, I don’t think I’ll be going back. Not great.

I like the place, good food and service. It’s the beer that let’s it down. Went in for a pint and a burger. All they serve is Hot Pink Larger which is a German import with a strange taste they have put their name to. I like a large range of Pilsner beers so amazed they don’t sell Peroni, Budvar, Moretti or any other premium beer in a bottle as an alternative.
