Entrance fee is a bit steep, especially considering that a lot of the ride-​on toys inside are for-​pay and you’re not allowed to bring food or drinks as they have a café and want you to buy everything from them. Prices for food and drink are quite reasonable though, so that’s okay.
They have a small climbing area (soft play) in the back which I wish was bigger because it’s the best part of the whole operation.
There are way too many electronic toys for my liking, lots of ride-​ons and arcade games. Hard to steer clear of as they dominante the space.
Look out for classes held here as they usually include free entry to the facility.

El horror hecho sala de juegos infantil. Ruidazo, comida regulera y cara, juegos destrozados, disfraces un poco cutres ya… necesitan renovar mobiliario y demás.

Pretty good range of climb/​play equipment. The place was clean, although it does feel rather «industrial» (it is a warehouse after all). Entrance price a bit more expensive than the most obvious local alternative, and I’m not sure it’s justified in my opinion. It’s good for a change though.

It was ok but in comparison to some of the other soft-​play places I’ve been, it’s small and a bit boring. For the price, you’d expect a lot more. The girls toilets were unpleasant. It was just a disabled toilet, but on the occasion I happened to need it, there was a potty sat on top of the toilet, stuffed full of dirty tissues, and there was human excrement all over the floor near the toilet. Not my idea of good hygiene.

I went to Eddie Catz to meet up with a couple of friends with children in January 2011 with my 9 month old daughter and was really looking forward to it but I will never go back.
I found the whole place a real let down, all the soft toys were all filthy, the plastic rocking chairs were crawling with dirt, the padding surrounding play areas were cracked and had been masked up with large silver electrical tape. Not great as this was the baby area!
There was one small changing mat in the ladies toilet with no harness attachment to keep the child in place. The peddles on the nappy bin were broken which meant you had to lift the lid with your hands and there were used potties with wee in them just left on the side and again just a real mess.
One of my friends had been there before and did not remember it being in such a state, we will meet somewhere else as we all felt it was really dirty.

Entrance based on height rather than age, which is strange. Nice staff, but £6.50 for one adult one child? Better to go to Bonkers in Swindon which is half the price and inside a garden centre/​craft village so you can do other stuff while there.

Where do I start? Eddie catz is excellent for children and parents/​carers. There is no end to the fun that can be had here. Suitable for babies, toddlers and pre schoolers. If the child is over 90 cm they are charged 5.50, under is 4.50 and 1pound per adult. Once in you can stay all day. There is a book corner, soft area for babies, dress ups, ride on cars/​bikes, foos ball, air hockey, slides big and small in an enclosed climbing area, computers for pre scool age, soft play area, arcade games that cost money, computers for adults to use, rooms for classes that are on. cooking classes, music classes, etc If your child is in a class they can then have free play afterward. The best child friendly café. A microwave to heat baby food if needed. lots of comfortable areas to sit and the food in the café is good for young and old. It comes hot or cold. I especially like that they serve little plastic cups with cucumber sticks or cheese cubes, or cherry tomatoes, for a pound. When child is too busy playing to have a seat and eat there are still healthy options. This is a world for the little people, and adults can relax knowing the kids arent bothering any grown ups. yes its noisy, its loud, it makes you want to be little. Not much negative to write except it really is hard to get your child to leave…

My children love this place. There are so many things to do — there’s a climbing frame, a soft play area, arcade games, and even a little library. It’s good value for money, especially as you can get a loyalty card so every 10^th visit is free. I like the fact that there’s no fried food, just salads and healthy snacks for the kids. Oh and the carrot cake is to die for! Staff are incredibly friendly and it’s always very clean. We had my son’s 6^th birthday party there — everything was really well organised and the team was really kind. When it was time to sing happy birthday, Eddie Catz himself came out with the cake!
