I went to Cocochan plenty of times. Always a good service, always great food. Décor is cool but not plush, perfect for casual dinner. Tuna and salmon tartare is fantastic and I always want more, so often contemplating ordering one just for myself — I am that selfish when it comes to this dish:-) Black cod is also an amazing dish — not as great as in Nobu but very close to it. Soft shell crab roll is something I always order and never disappoints. They have a mint chocolate tea on their drinks menu and its a lovely calorie free dessert for me. I go often to this place and I am their fan for as long as the food stays this good.

Cocochan is one of my favourite asian restaurants in Central London. The meat is fully halal(except duck I think… double check if you’re concerned!) so I was ecstatic to have such a huge menu to choose from. I had the prawn and chives dumplings as starters which were your usual affair. Nothing too exceptional. Also had the soft shell crab tempura which I personally didn’t like. It was happily gobbled up by my dining partner so to each their own! The best part of my meal was definitely my main. Chargrilled lamb cutlets and cabbage kimchee. It was perfect with the jasmine rice I ordered on the side. I’ve been craving it ever since! The 30% offer for Unilocal users via the app is definitely a plus. I’ll be going back to try more of the menu in the not so distant future!

Didn’t try the food there, only tried cocktails. Love&tropical(?)is good, tastes very mild and sweet. Another Pineapple Express is not that good, too strong and alcoholic. I guess the food here is probably better Thant he cocktails here.

For the portion i recieved, it was definitely overpriced. I ordered the tofu hot pot and it turned out to be actually just stir fried tofu with no soup or whatsoever. Menu selection is normal and everything was just alright. On the other hand, the restaurant is well decorated and has a very chic urban vibe. Would i come back? Maybe just for drinks.

The perfect place for excellent food in Christophers Lane and good value for money. I weber for the eel Sushi(unagi) and sea bass for mains(both among my favorite when going out) and they certainly did exceeding all my expectactions

They are expensive, but serves small pieces. Deluxe sushi dish serves 15 small pieces for £24. They don’t even serve a bowl of rice with it. That’s extra £4. I’m still so hungry :(

We were looking for a quick snack to hold us over until dinner. This Asian restaurant appeared to be just the place. We were deeply disappointed by the slow service, pricey menu and just average Dim Sum which had very little flavor. We had Vegetable Spring Rolls, Shrimp Dumplings, Sea Bass Dumpling.

The service was average and not very attentive for a small restaurant(not very crowded at the time either). The food was good, nothing special but seemed over priced. If you’re in the area, shopping on bond street or selfridges and you’re craving asian cuisine then I won’t hesitate to recommend it as a lunch spot. But otherwise I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit this restaurant.

I know it might not be the place to have sushi but every time I order sushi here I know it will be fresh and delicious the other food is also very delicious, too. Staff are nice and polite, they will take your coats. Nice place to eat!

Horrid service. Staff looked us up and down when we entered and didn’t seem fussed for the duration of the evening. If there was one compliment to be had, it was the Maki; probably the nicest thing I ate all night. The dim sum was boring and overpriced and the fish cakes were horrible. I often roll my eyes at the thought of a pan-Asian restaurant. I’m never confident when a restaurant’s concept is based off the need to combine the best of Southeast Asia. I’d always prefer to walk into a specialised Malaysian restaurant than an «all of the above». That said it’s not the worst pan-Asian restaurant I’ve been to — in fact, it’s one of the better ones I’ve come across. That statement just doesn’t count for much. P. S. It’s really overpriced.

St. Christopher’s Place is such a jewel with so many dining options just off Oxford and near Selfridge’s. We ate at Cocochan there after a morning of shopping and were very happy. In fact, my son went back several times over the month period that he was in London. The service was great, food arrives quickly, and is really very good. I have not one complaint and would happily go back and dine anytime I’m in that neighborhood.

Horrid. Horrid place. Staff didn’t seem especially run off their feet, so having to wait almost 15 minutes for 2 drinks to arrive, and then the wine being warm and the waitress being snarly really annoyed me. Especially having experienced such amazing service at Patty & Bun just 20 minutes previously. I really can’t speak to how good the food is — having not tried it — but based on what I did have(sub par warm riesling), I wouldn’t be in any rush to go back and do so. Walk on by, as Dionne Warwick sang.

Delicious pan-Asian cuisine that is halal to boot. Loved the red duck curry and the egg fried rice. I may lose my American citizenship for this, but again the American halal food scene pales in comparison to London’s.

We popped in here trying to find somewhere to have a quick drink. As special occasion we ordered cocktails. Our first round was delicious champagne cocktails. Both rounds we had were served very well presented and tasted delicious. The drinks are not cheap but a great little treat. Service was polite and they accommodated us just having drinks and not dining there without making a fuss or making us feel bad. We didn’t stop for food however, definitely would have it on my list of places to go to as it looked like it would be a lovely place to dine.

Good food, cosy atmosphere, lovely décor. All made better by the 30% off we have by booking via toptable. Make sure you do the same. I will definitely come here again as the food was just amazing.

Nice atmosphere, good wait staff and the food was the OK. But it was a overall a bit flat for lunch. The outdoor seating is nice, but the food fell a bit flat. I cant remember what i had now but i recall i wasn’t impressed and found it a bit pricy. Meh…

You know you’ve had an amazing meal when your friend stands up after the meal, examines her stomach and says«Do you think someone will give up their seat on the tube for me?» Went here with a friend that I met in Malaysia 7 years ago. We hadn’t seen each other since then so we wanted a place with great food, drinks, where we could catch up and reminisce about something I’ll refer to as «The Soup Can incident». We started with a bunch of the dim sum appies(prawn toast, chicken gyoza, duck confit spring rolls, prawn kataifi) all were awesome. We also had a calamari salad on the recommendation of our waitress — it was only ok. We took a break to give our stomachs a chance to prepare for round two(yes, apparently we needed more food) by being responsible and drinking lots of wine. While drinking the wine, we decided to order more food — thai green curry with chicken and crispy noodles with vegetables. I was wearing my skinny jeans yet managed to pack a ton of food into my stomach because I literally couldn’t stop eating. This is seriously some of the best asian fusion I’ve ever had. My only complaint is that I live in Canada and this restaurant requires a 9 hour flight so I won’t be able to dine here that often. Oh, and for those that are wondering, no one gave up their seat on the tube so it’s some sort of magical food that makes you *feel* full without giving you an actual food baby. WIN!

Went to Cocochan yesterday with a friend for lunch and we chose from the £15 set menu which is great as you get 4 courses. All the dishes were prepared beautifully and I particularly enjoyed the Thai beef salad with stips of grilled beef, a Thai chilli sauce, coriander, mint, salad leaves and gorgeous fresh papaya and green mango. I’ll be back!

I went to Cocochan yesterday lunchtime with a friend. I loved the décor, all dark purple and black. Excellent, attentive service and the lunch set menu was great value at £15: I had the sweet and sour chicken soup for starters followed by a Thai beef salad with plenty of green mango and mint leaves, then the beef hot pot and a refreshing icecream(one flavour was sweet potato!). A great dining experience

Five words: soft shell crab futo maki! For £7.75, this is one of the tastiest starters I’ve had in a very long time. It smells gorgeous, is presented with fresh wasabi and some very tasty nori and hasjust the right amount of crunch. Seriously, I loved it. Other dishes I tried at this newly opened pan-Asian restaurant were pretty good too. I especially liked the puddings: a cleansing and pleasing pomegranate crème brûlée and a comforting banana cake with amaretto ice cream both commendably exceeded my expectations. Top notch service, a good list of sake, shoshu(wine et al as well) and a really impressive assortment of teas are other reasons to rec this snazzy Marylebone resto.
