I recently stayed in a hotel on Cartwright Gardens in Bloomsbury, and this place is very close by. The three set breakfast meals at around five quid a piece are huge, tasty, and include tea or coffee and toast. The Italian owner is friendly and genuinely funny. I wish there was a place like this where I live.

This is just a quick review, as I only popped in for a ham roll.
Small corner café, clean and smart interior. The staff were the owners, I think. They were very polite and friendly.

Sandwiches, fry ups, etc… small place, really nice Italian guys behind the counter. Pleasant outdoor seating (in addition to indoor). This is a good spot to hit up if you’re at the British Library and need lunch but don’t want to spend a lot or go to Pret (again).
Oh, and it is amusingly on the corner of Hastings and Sandwich Street.
