I had lovely afternoon tea here after leaving the Victoria and Albert as I headed to Harrods. Not a traditional English tea (bruschetta instead of sandwiches) but it didn’t matter as the sweets were the outstanding stars of the show. Totally reasonably priced and lovely servers.

A spectacular afternoon tea, and only £12,90. I had to give some specific dietary requests and the server wrote them down carefully and sure enough, they followed the requirements and produced a lovely custom assortment of finger sandwiches and delectable sweets (see picture). I enjoyed my pot of tea, and they did offer a refill. The shop itself is divine, with gorgeous Viennese decorating touches throughout, and plenty of scrumptious-​looking foods on display. As befits a Viennese-​type establishment, their cappuccinos are also fantastic (I visited several times during my visit to London, not just for the tea).
