The food was okay. Mussels are not the best and not sure how fresh(lots of them where unopened). Service is very poor: it was not busy at all but you have to go to the bar to order because no one notices you and also mixing up your orders(my friend got a starter and a main all together at once). However the manager seems like a very nice and warm person.

If I were the boss, most waitress should be renewed because seems all are in a mess. The manager is running up and down in hell but he should act more as a leader. Such a site with so many tourists for O2 should be so easy offer the simple but more efficient service. 45 mins passed, no sign for good’s arrival. Btw, what I ordered is just mussels.

Poor poor service here, on a level which made me question how they are still in business. We came in and were asked if we wanted to eat or just drinks. We opted for just drinks and sat down. We had 40 minutes to kill before climbing the O2 so just wanted something warm before our ascent. 15 minutes later we finally had our order taken. A hot chocolate and a peppermint tea. 5 minutes after this another member of staff tried to take our order again, there were several apologies but nobody seemed to be actually making our drinks. Finally after 30 minutes they arrived, giving us 10 minutes to drink them and get back to the O2. My hot chocolate was pretty decent, but I had to neck the damn thing like I was taking part in some sort of freshers week shot challenge rather than getting to savour it. All that was left was to pay and go. Can we pay please? It seemed like a simple request, but they asked us if we could wait a minute. Given that we had waited far too many minutes already and were now in danger of missing our slot at the O2 we ended up figuring out the amount for ourselves and just leaving it on the table for them to discover. If they get round to collecting that as quickly as they did with everything else during our visit then it’s probably still there. I wouldn’t go back, it was a shambles. Other people in there were complaining they had been waiting for ages or hadn’t had orders taken either. Total management fail.

Avoid if you like steak. The service was very attentive but it couldn’t make up for the poor quality steak frites. We complained and it must have been a regular occurrence for them as the staff immediately comped us one of the meals. Much much better places to eat in the O2!

Oh myyyyyyyyyyyyy. The goats cheese salad. Is amazing. I want go go back and have it again immediately. My parents both got the French onion soup and I tried it and it was amazing too.

+ next to O2 and Ravensbourne College + outdoors seating + smiling staff… — … but slow service I came here on a sunny Friday afternoon with a friend for a drink before heading home. This Café Rouge has an outdoors seating area in the open space next to the O2 where you can sip and eat away while watching the buzz of life goes by. Although I didn’t have any food this visit, the dishes looked and smelled delicious. Other patrons seemed to be enjoying their meals. Anytime we needed something, the waitress always responded with a smile despite it being so hot and busy that afternoon. But it took a long time for arrival of our drinks and our bill, with long queues of hungry/thirsty diners waiting to get in and we couldn’t pay our bill for about 10 minutes. The waitresses were brilliant though, under so much pressure, and never forgot our requests even if it took a long time. I would be a bit wary about eating there if you are in a hurry to catch a show at the O2.
