The beer is second to none in London. Can’t beat craft beer done right. Was here for beer tasting so tried 5 varieties. Punk IPA is still my fav. My gripe is the menu caters not to vegetarians or meat-light dietarians. Ps. They have a gluten free beer, isn’t that nice?

Stumbled on the bar whilst on my way back from a long afternoon at Camden Lock. Wasn’t planning on a visit as the missus was tired out, but since it was on our way she relented and we popped in for a pint. Staff are courteous and knowledgeable. And the draught and bottle selection is impressive — as it should be. No cask ale — but seriously folks, who walks into a Brewdog for cask? Had a nitro milk stout, which was excellent. Wish I had ordered a flight — will pop by again for a taster flight before I leave London. Update: popped by before I left London, and ordered a flight of draught beers, plus some hotdogs and tater tots. This place sure fills up at night. Food is decent, but forgettable. Portions were large enough to satisfy people of modest appetite and diminutive build — such as myself. And of course, the beers were excellent. 10⁄10 would come again.

Excellent ales here and a very knowledgable lot when it comes to questions about what to drink. Can’t comment on the food but pizzas and bar snacks did look good. I used to visit this venue when it was the Laural Tree years ago it it’s changed quite a bit but it does give me the same feeling. It’s not a very inviting place and somewhere you could site for hours. I guess it’s best as a starting point or somewhere to finish up.

It would almost impossible for me to visit a BrewDog pub and not give it five stars — a nice pint of Cocoa Psycho — c’moooon, what’s not to love about that? I love the atmosphere of this particular bar; there’s nothing in the way of entertainment, and no music, so you get to sit, kick back with a beer and just enjoy a conversation. The drinks are reasonably priced for this part of London in my opinion too. The seating is pretty sparse and if you don’t score a booth, you will end up on a stool which becomes dangerous if you have one too many, but I guess that’s part of the fun? Apparently, they serve food, which I have yet to try — more on this when I do. The staff are genuinely knowledgeable when it comes to beer and are happy to let you try stuff. My favourite thing to do is just hurl a couple of adjectives their way, to describe what I’m in the mood for and see what they serve — it’s usually always good! The location of this BrewDog is super convenient — a five minute walk from both Camden Town and Mornington Crescent stations. There’s not much to look at, as the window peers out onto a residential street, however, the wall art more than makes up for this, especially the«this way for tinkle times» motif outside the bathrooms.

Fantastic little bar. Brewdog offers some great beers from its own brewery as well as excellent guest beers. Everyone is nice. I appreciate the nice dark, underground atmosphere.

Please don’t hate me, but I am not a massive fan of IPA or craft beers. Too bitter for my taste. HOWEVER, my friends who visited from France were. And since we were in Camden on a very hot day, and needed both drinks and food, I decided to take them to BrewDog in Camden. Atmosphere: Cosy but homey, there is a big communal table and a few booths, as well as a few boardgames. Quite tucked away from Camden High Street, you actually get to miss the massive crowds on a Saturday afternoon, which also makes it a nice break. Drinks: Every Londoner now knows BrewDog, right? Well, I went for their Larger, and it was nice. Yes, I am a simple gal. One of my friends went for their Ginger Beer based cocktail, and I was really nicely impressed. So yeah, beer, but good and creative stuff. Food: THIS is where I was impressed. Maybe was it because my expectations were low? I don’t know, but they provided us with a simple, yet delicious burger served with tots(tots are kind of deep-fried mashed potato balls — and are amazing). The bun was squishy and tasty, but not too big, meat was perfectly cooked. So there, no need to compromise between a burger or a good beer. You can get both here. (I am actually craving for a burger now. damn.)

BEER: 5 Stars FOOD: 0 Stars BEER: Love this beer. Love this place. This is our second visit here. BrewDog isn’t ordinary tasting beer; they offer IPAs, ales, stouts… I usually start with the Hardcore IPA. Yesterday, I sampled Bourbon Baby and Dogma. Dogma is amazing. They quickly ran out. FOOD: It’s a beer place, but you gotta eat, right? Eat before you get there. We ordered the Pulled Pork pastry(served cold), a hotdog and the tots. All were edible, but not very good. Stick with the awesome beer.

I discovered BrewDog several years ago when I bought 6 bottles of Punk IPA and a bottle of Sink The Bismarck, believed to be the strongest beer in the world with a 41% alcohol content. If memory serves me correctly it cost about £40 for a 330ml bottle. I’ve loved BrewDog ever since. Antonia, Stu and I went for a walk up to Primrose Hill and then made our way down to BrewDog Camden for some lunch. The Camden bar has a cool layout and the staff are always really helpful if you don’t know what you want to drink and are more than happy for you to have a few samples before making your mind up. The beer board lists house and guest beer with suggested serving measures depending on the strength. I had a few samples and settled on a Libertine 7.2%(2⁄3) for £4.50 and a Loz Feliz Burger which was a bargain at just £6. Stu had the guest Black Jack Porter 6.8%(2⁄3) £4.25 and the El Bandito Burger(£7) and Antonia had the new Fake Lager 4.7%(pint) and some Bruscetta £4.50. The burgers were decent although Stu didn’t think his was hot enough considering it was the spicy option and very good value for money as was the Bruscetta considering you get 6 pieces for £4.50. My burger came with a side of chive potato salad, Stu’s with a hot pepper salad but calling these sides is pretty cheeky — my potato salad was one and half small new potatoes and Stu’s was just as unsubstantial(as you can see below) but given the price I got over it pretty quickly. As well as burgers, there’s also a range of pizzas available as well as other snacks.

I’m a 100% lager girl, but this is the one spot in the city which can always please me with their creative ales. That should say it all.

I live in NYC where tap beer is dreadful; I’m not sure if it’s because no one knows how to maintain taps or … Either way, my friend’s roommate works here so we decided to check it out. I wanted an opportunity to introduce myself and thank him since I’d be sleeping on an air mattress with my stuff strewn everywhere. I was really surprised. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, and gasp, actually knows the product pretty well. If you have questions about certain types the bartenders will offer you a taste without hesitation. I love that! I’m a bartender as well and sometimes the easiest way to explain flavor profile, hops and body is to just give out a sample. All beer here is also vegan, so anyone with allergies(save for gluten, you poor souls) should be good to go. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of beer is top notch. Even better, really good crowd: attractive and easy-going. A mix of people who live/work in the area and people coming from longer distances because of the name. I took a peek at the weekend brunch menu and it looked great. I’m told the burgers are the way to go. The English are lucky to have great beef! Sadly, because I knew of the horrid state I’d be in over the next few mornings, I knew I wouldn’t get a chance to try. Since my best friend moved to the area this has become a must-visit for when I’m visiting. See you in 4 months!

Brewdog + Camden = irresistably cool. Great beer, knowledgeable staff, and excellent burgers. Not cheap, and gets crowded on evenings and weekdays, but you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better or more interesting pint of beer.

You know it’s almost impossible for me to not stop for a beer in BrewDog. Today’s visit to Camden was made a lot more pleasant for stopping by. In a blistering 31 degree heat BrewDog is a little of the beaten track but it beckons like an oasis. A refreshing pint of Punk IPA is the order of the day. I was also glad of the refreshing air conditioning too. A welcome taste of home for this weary traveller.

How did I miss reviewing this bar? I love this bar. It’s the only bar in London that I know of that serves real beer. I mean real beer. Excellent IPAs, Dark Beer(not stout), and excellent lagers. The bartenders seem happy to offer you a taste selection for no charge. And given hte beer menu, you need to taste a few. I have spent many of nights in here sampling then many amazing beers here. It’s home!

A peine arrivés, le «videur» me demande mon ID. I’LLBE BACk !

I’m not a beer drinker but I really enjoyed this cozy pub. It’s tucked away from the chaos of Camden so it’s a great place to relax and catch up with friends because the music is not very loud. There are two floors but it does get busy… we had a wait a while before a seating area opened up. We got the comfy seats downstairs which can seat a lot of people, which I preferred to the ground floor because it gets really crowded by the bar. They have a massive beer list and a great selection of ciders; I got the cider. They all come in cool glasses too. The huge pizza looked amazing, next time I’ll have to try the food!

What a cool time spent in this pub ! Handcrafted beers and foods, tasty burgers. We actually can’t say that the beers are cheap but the quality is signifiant ! For a Parisian girl, it was really cool !

BrewDog serves up some very bold beers with some unconventional names. The beers are strong and polarized(by that I mean, if you try a raspberry beer, then there will be a very strong raspberry flavor); this makes sampling tougher because the flavors linger. Regardless, the bartenders are patient and accommodating which makes for a great experience. Lastly, this place tends to be cleaner than other venues in Camden.

Love!!! Beers: Great selection of beers, both on tap and in bottles. Bartenders are all knowledgeable and great with recommendations. I only wish they would have more guest beers on tap but then again, this is a Brewdog pub, and there’s always the Euston Tap for that. Ultimately though, having just spent a year in NY living in craft beer heaven, it’s nice to see that the UK is finally catching on. Food: Only eaten here once, tried the Pizza. Thoroughly enjoyed it but I was drunk and hungry. Lack of chilli flakes was a tiny bit annoying but they gave me jalapenos instead so I can’t complain too much. Ambiance: Board games lying around are amazing. Basement has a very cozy homely feel. That being said, I much prefer this place anytime other than weekend nights. It’s usually chill/cozy/warm/inviting generally. On weekend nights they turn up the music quite a bit and it’s also a tiny bit too packed generally. Bottom line: If you like beer, just go.

I am in love. With a beer. The black tokyo horizon, a collaboration between Mikkeller, Norgne-Ø, and BrewDog, is a gigantic stout which causes love at first glass. It’s that good. Having enjoyed BrewDog beers back in the States, at different places around here in London, and at BrewDog’s Shoreditch and Camden locations, I think I can say these beers kick serious ass. I started with a Hardcore IPA, and tasted the Jackhammer, Ingrid, Weisse, as well as a few others(sorry, others, I forget your names.) After the first beer, my friend and I were hungry so we ordered a pizza to share. They were kind enough to leave cheese off half because I’m lactose intolerant. It was delicious. We were also given a ramekin of chillies and jalapeños when I asked if there were pepper flakes, and when the manager inquired if I like spicy things and I said yes, he brought over some beer-soaked Scotch Bonnet which actually roasted me! I’m kind of immune to peppers and these were probably the hottest things I’ve had in the entire time I’ve been in the UK. I actually said ‘ouch!’ and felt like I was breathing fire. But I cooled down with the thick, black, somewhat sweet, lovely black tokyo horizon. Goddess is that stuff good.(Special thanks to bartender Phoebe for recommending it!) We got seats at the bar, before moving downstairs to chill out, but make sure you’re willing to stand if you go at a busy time because the place can get packed! Happy drinking!

Good beer, good atmosphere — very«Camden», if that makes sense. I like that the downstairs has couches instead of seats; it’s a great place to curl up with some friends and have some beer. Because, yes, beer. Good beer. Strong beer. Varied beer. And pizza, apparently! I didn’t have any, but saw someone else eating it and it looked fresh and hot and cheesy and delicious. Just an all-around good little beer joint, around the corner from the high street. Worth a visit if you’re in the area and a fan of BrewDog.

The bar itself, décor, seating availability, atmosphere, was just ok for me. We randomly snagged this weird bed corner booth spot when a family left just after we ordered so that was fun to lean back and lay on for a bit. Bartenders were knowledgable and very friendly. We got a flight of four different beers which were explained to us. Sadly I only slightly enjoyed one of four but then it would have been a worse experience having to buy four different pints to find that out. But I only just started enjoying beer and have yet to fully understand which type i like the best, once I get that down the bartenders could probably help me find the right pint. Definitely will stop by again if Im in the neighborhood and in the mood for some microbrew.
