Popped in for lunch with a friend. Service was good. I had a chicken liver pita which was pretty good, and a lentil soup which was just good(i.e., on the scale of good it was below pretty, but above not very). My friend, on the other hand, had an awful meal. His salad was frozen, his eggplant dip was microwaved(hot bits and cold bits), and his main portion of lamb kebab and rice was just plain not very good. If I were him I’d be writing a 1 star review, but seeing as my sandwich was adequately tasty I’m gonna go ahead and bestow a mediocre honour to Akkadia.

Really tasty Lebanese food in a cozy atmosphere. The vibe was relaxed and comfortable; lots of warm lighting and tight seating. Pretty perfect for a date! Super-thin, runny yogurt(mmm) with my lamb dish. Everyone else in the group got the good ol’ chicken shawarma-style entrée. Very tasty! Sampled the melon juice beforehand, really refreshing. Great service too; the staff was super-friendly.

Go Here Before It Closes! Now called Akkadia so I assume the Falamanki that other Unilocalers visited has closed. I had lunch here with my wife and it was excellent but we were the only diners so I assume it will meet the same fate as it’s predecessor. Excellent Mezzes, spreads, and sandwiches with fresh ingredients and recommended for a low key lunch on High Street not involving Starbucks or «Soldiers.»
