This wetherspoons is a really nice place to have a meal with the family or a drink with friends. the last time i visited here i found it very spacious and although there were a lot of people taking up tables and standing at the bar area it was good to see it so full and popular. the staff are so helpful because they will advise you on what are the most popular meals if you cant make up your mind what to order.

I love Wetherspoons its a great place to just hang out and have a few drinks with mates, I usually go in there with in the afternoon for a late lunch and get one of there toasted sandwich. They do great evening meals and have great themed nights such curry night and steak night. Good value for money and an excellent way to start a night out! The layout of wetherspoons is very spacious it is a massive place so there is plenty of room to move about. It is a great place to begin you night out as the place is a cheerful and friendly atmosphere with cheap drink and food.

I have drove past this place countless times, only recently did I deicded to acctually go in. I call it a Place because I origionally thought it to be a pub which served a sloppy pub grub untill 9Pm. Oh I was shocked when I enterd. Its not infact a pub but infact resturant with a smart bar. You know you go out to a resturant, they give you your own little table so you feel alone. Then you reach into your pocket and take out a rib of the man sitting behind you because the tables are so packed together. I’m tempeted to say its just like sitting in my own house, but its really not. its like sitting in a big old English mannor. After ordering I half expected a droopy faced butler to serve me my meal. I felt very cosey indeed. While eating I noticed I was stering at a bookcase and thought to myself Why? … I wanted to say 100 terrible things about this bookcase, but I coudn’t. I don’t see why a bookcase in a decoration in a resturant but it works. Most of all had to be the fire place. Yes, a fireplace. How can you not feel more at home. The layout of the place is supurb and youreally do enjoy the cosey environment created around you. You know the woman on the front of the yorkshire pudding wrapper, it’s the kind of place I could image her to live. This aside. The food. I am a man who knows the value of a pound so I look for the best value for money most of the time. Sat at my seat, attacked by adverts. Everwhere I looked there was a deal. Usually this would just anger me. I want my cottagey feeling, not people seeling me things. However they were great offers! I mean like really exelant value. I got a burger, chips and a pint for around £4.50. The deal was buger and chips with a free drink. Consider a pint is about £2.40. It’s like £2.10 for a buger and chips. And it was a remarkable meal. The buger was REAL thick meat. Somone has just choped a cow in half and wraped it up in a bun. However the chips. They were nice chunky chips, but not PUBCHIPS. Feeling like I was in a cottage I had my heart set on real pub chips, but no. The chips could have been better.
