its just up my road and i carry my shopping home cnt afford taxi so this is the nearest place but they never got any offers on like in the bigger ones the shelves are not stocked tht well you have to queue for ages and the prices are gettin dearer dreafull place to shop

This Tesco Metro store is situated near to the Lark Lane area. It is only a small store compared to the nearby Asda and Sommerfield Supermarkets.
The store is well organised, divided into 4 aisles and a frozen section. There is fresh fruit and vegetables and freshly baked bread, although the range is not as big as in larger stores. Sometimes these items can sell out but the staff always try to keep them well stocked.
There is a good range of food items at different prices, from the Tesco Value range to the more deluxe Finest range.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Some of the ladies on the tills are friendly and remember you each time you shop there. They give this store more of a community feel compared to the massive supermarkets nearby.

This Tesco is dreadful, but I shop at it for the convenience of it, plus because I can pop to home bargains next door. They never have any food in this shop — it’s always run out. They have a very poor range of food as well. They must have about 200 varieties of bread but there’s never any fruit and veg. The bargains section is terrible too, they just dump stuff in there but don’t put the new prices on so you end up paying full price. I hate using this Tesco and can’t wait to afford to get a car to go the bigger asda or tesco on smiothdown and mather avenue.
