Snooky Ookums

Snooky Ookums has such a cute aesthetic that I’m reminded of doll’s houses and other such perfect items. Inside the store is an array of dresses suitable for royalty.
The vintage on offer in here is in great condition, and prices are very reasonable. Whether you lust after a more unique maxi dress or skirt then Snooky Ookums is a must-​visit. The staff are delightfully friendly and fashion-​forward.
The store often takes part in vintage fashion fairs and shows, so make sure you check those out sometime.
Snooky Ookum’s main appeal for me though, is the unique-​ness of clothing on offer. It’s very unlikely you’d purchase something in here you’d see someone else wearing as a lot of Snooky’s vintage is sourced from the U.S.

Well, I suspect Snooky Ookums is one of the listings in her little black book of fashion boutiques. Tucked away on the first floor of Petticoat Lane Arcade, it’s a cute shop that’s packed with select 60s, 70s and 80s vintage womenswear. The majority of the stock seems to be dresses or skirts with a big bias towards maxi dresses, mini dresses and power dresses with shoulder pads right now! Prices are low to reasonable for vintage and a lot of the stock is sourced and imported from the U.S. meaning you won’t see anyone else wearing the same number!
