Silverberg Opticians

Silverbergs has been my optician for several years now and I ain’t going anywhere any time soon — this is the kind of well-​established, family run place that makes you want to remain a loyal customer.
The staff are über friendly and extremely knowledgable; from the optometrists themselves to the sales staff, you are always in very good hands.
And boy do they have some great frames to sell! Whether you want classic or contemporary, funky or elegant, these guys can help you find you what you want. I can spend hours in Silverbergs trying on frames (always with a cup of tea and a biccie to hand — they’re nice like that) but ultimately they always know which suit your face best and guide you to the best ones for you. I was recently in there to buy prescription sunglasses…“what’s cool now but going to stay cool for a good while?” I said (after all prescription sunnies are a SERIOUS investment)…“Go for the Persol, DEFINITELY” said the lovely young salesman. I took his advice and was very glad I did.
If you are optically challenged like me (or even if you’re not) and you want loads of choice of styles coupled with excellent service then get yourself to Silverbergs.

Opticians with plenty of choice of frames for ladies and gents. Certainly the place to go for prescription sunglasses.
Visitors are treated to tea and coffee and homemade cup cakes if you happen to time your visit right.

I hate shopping for sunglasses I have an awkward shaped face and can never find sunglasses that suit me. The staff in here were great. I told them I what I was looking for and they took the time to find it for me.
Prices were pretty reasonable compared to most stores, however the service is impeccable. They properly fitted the sunglasses for me, and offer a help service if they go wrong in the future.
