If you like betting on sports, then you are in for a bit of a treat because Paddy Power has finally arrived in Liverpool. With its distinct green image, Paddy Power locates itself in Williamson Square where it faces stiff competition from Ladbrokes, Betfred and William Hill all of which are less than 30 seconds away from one another. I have never been to a Paddy Power before so this is a first for me and I am currently impressed with its overall design and layout which I find quite appealing. The bookmaker is both spacious and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff to guide you if you require. If you’re one for casino machines, you have a decent choice here too. The one thing that stood out was a display quoting Manchester United to get relegated next season is 2000 – 1 which I thought was bit of a joke when you have to be realistic when betting! There have already been special promotions handed out to potential customers in the vicinity of Williamson Square. If you were lucky enough to visit a couple days ago, you will have received a free umbrella and a chance to visit Haydock races with a group of other customers. I am not a fan of the races but was also handed a leaflet which gave me two tokens, each worth £2 of free bets. Not a bad marketing strategy to pull you in(if you dare)!
