Kut a Bill is one of those places that just stocks everything. No matter what you need, whether it be a household item such as a mop, or a 3 piece suite for your living room, they have it here. The shop is huge and well stocked. It is well organised so if you know what you are looking for it shouldnt take too long to find it. The staff are friendly and helpful and will help you find whatever you need. If you buy a larger item here such as a 3 piece suite or a bed, the staff will gladly arrange free delivery for you, at your convenience.

Kut A Bill is a haven of all things handy for home. If you’ve just moved in down Smithdown Road and need some new cushions or bed linen then this is your one stop shop. With a variety of stock ranging from toilet rolls to beds, Kut A Bill has all your home-woes covered at bargain prices. If you don’t want to buy something useful and practical, and like me, have aversions to such things, then this home centre also has a range of funny lights, including the classical lava lamp. So cut your bills and head here when you need some homeware.

As long as you don’t read too much into the cheesy name then you can survive a browse in this collection of DIY and assorted homeware shop on Smithdown Road. The store is certainly stocked up for most DIY tasks boasting a large range of different tools. The shop could be described as being a bit scattered but it adds to the feel of the more traditional DIY shop as opposed to the efficiency or the huge chains. Besides you feel a higher level of achievement when you find what you are looking for in this store. Kut a Bill is designed to help you save on your home maintenance, provided you can find what you’re after.

It’s a small miracle that Kut-a-Bill has managed to last as long as it has. Walking in, you realise you’ve discovered a mystical grotto of everything you need for your homestead. The shelves are packed and the walls are practically buckling under the strain of every single possible item a house needs to stop it from imploding. Added to this are things which could only possibly be described as ‘urgent tat’- objects such as tape-holders and crayons which you think you need right away but just don’t. Kut-a-Bill survives dangling from the conversational line of «You want one of those? Try Kut-a-Bill.» Anything life-stoppingly necessary will be in your newsagents. Anything life-stoppingly specific will be in a specialist trade store. The clutter that falls between these two will end up in Kut-a-Bill.
