The WeeMans is indeed quite wee. It has a cosy lounge with a fire, which is lovely in cold weather. The selection of drinks includes a real ale as well as Magners and the usual things on tap.

Quite attractive on the outside, a bit drab on the inside. There are a few comfortable upholstered settles on the left as you go in and sturdy wooden tables. There’s a flat screen TV on the wall showing golf (I brightened up at that!!) but no sound or subtitles. It was quiet when we called in yesterday, just one other person who was sitting at the bar, and the barmaid (or whatever you call them nowadays) who was quite pleasant. It’s a Belhaven pub so some of their popular beer was available on draught. My husband enjoyed his Guinness but I couldn’t get any coffee other than ‘instant’ the barmaid offered to boil the kettle for me but I decided to go without and just write some postcards.
