A standard British pub with a comfortable table and Yorkshire ales.

The best beer in the village by far, always busy. My favourite is golden best, it’s kept just right here. Food is good too and the staff are fantastic.

Best pub in Haworth. Nice food and good selection of Taylor’s ales.

Cute standard pub with pub fare. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. I liked it but it was nothing outstanding. Two best things about it were the sheep logo and the fact that delicious goat cheese is incorporated into a lot of menu items.

I have the great privilage of living only a 15 minute walk away from The Fleece Inn at Hawoth. This lovely pub can be quiet during the day and a great place for a pint, a chat and some great pub grub. It’s so old it was frequented by Branwell Bronte and possibly his sisters. By night it is transformed with a great party atmosphere and is best during the warm summer evenings when many patrons spill out into the cobbled Main Street of Haworth. They offer a good selection of fabulous beers, ales and ciders and a nice collection of spirits. It is in a great location as I say on Main Street haworth so you can have a pint and then take a tour of all the speciality shops and restaurants within steep walking distance. As I look across the valley I can see the lights of the Fleece Inn beckoning meI’d hate to dissapoint!

A stunning old Inn situated on the Main Street in Haworth. which was frequented by Bramwell Bronte, brother of the famous Bronte sisters. There is not much, if anything, to fault with this Inn. Recently given a platinum award for the Beautiful Beer Guide. Also in the 2009 Good Beer Guide. They have the full selection of Timothy Taylors and have recently started a special guest beer slot every week. Their food is scrumptious, locally sourced and very diverse, something for everyone. You can sit in one of the many nooks and crannies or in the dining room. The rooms are a joy, scrupulously clean with views to die for over the hills and vales. Worth staying here just for the ‘Full Bronte’ breakfast, it will keep you going all day and possibly most of the week. There is always a fantastic atmosphere and a friendly welcome. Very popular for people staying for the Forties Week end. If you want to stay book in advance around certain times as there is a lot going on in Haworth and this is a popular place. They also do special offers from time to time so worth a look.
