Cuckoos Coffee & Bagel Bar

This over-​rated café is very pleasant and well located. The food is of average-​good quality but a little over priced. I had a ‘real’ milkshake but at £3.20 was very overpriced for the drink I actually received, and as such they have now lost our custom! Will not come here again which is a shame because they have got the formula right EXCEPT the price… Over price!
11÷4÷15 — Oh my hungry visit to Hull today dragged me in here and after ordering went to check in and saw I had previously reviewed! DOH!
Well the breakfast sandwich apart from being itemized on the bill different to the menu (overall cost same) was not bad. The coffee also ok. I was also intrigued by the porridge option, so bought it to try, very nice and a great healthy option, see my photo! The environment is a nice café… But my recommendation would be coffee and cake in the afternoon or a light bite.

This is a small place but its fantastic. They sell a variety of fillings on bagels and other kinds of bread. They do a wide range of drinks from coffee, to flavoured teas to beer and wine! This is a lovely little place to eat, the food is always great. The décor is great! The service is good but sometimes you can be waiting a little while when the place is busy, also it could do with being a little bit bigger. But if you like reasonably priced food then this is the place for you, especailly if you love bagels! And in the summer you can sit outside and relax.

Not as cheap as it should be, Cuckoos is still a lovely little treat, with a nice selection of drinks and sandwiches. Makes a welcome break from a pub lunch while out shopping. The staff are most often very friendly and the service is fast enough to make it a good spot to catch a lunch break from work.
