The service and selection were excellent. The prices are carriage trade, but the duty free area is the place to save a bit on luxuries, after all. I’m a fan and I would plan to stop there on my next trip through. Note that this in Terminal 5, British Airways.

I first learned about Ted Baker in Amsterdam last Fall. The States have yet to be properly introduced. Yes, TB tend toward gray and then pops of vibrant color(fuschia)…Ok, so maybe it’s not very NYC. So what? Everyone has a signature. Here’s the thing: I like his stuff, a lot. I don’t care if it is a British equivalent to Express… I dig his stuff. It is inherently designed for the feminine form while retaining a modern edginess. Yes, it is probably manufactured in China; aside from Chanel and St John, what isn’t? This tiny little shop near the Star Alliance lounge is worth a stopover.
