This place is fantastic in the summer to stop and enjoy some lunch. They have a wonderful area at the front of the pub full of tables and chairs where you can sit and soak up the rays.
Inside the pub is really warm and cozy and the staff are really friendly. I had one of the best cheddar ploughmans I’ve ever eaten here and it was helped along with a really nice bottle of Chardonnay from their extensive wine list.
Get here early for the Sunday lunch as it gets really popular.

A great pub with good food.
It’s full of old world charm, dark wood, beams and hunting pictures.
The food is reasonably priced and the portions are big. You just sort of feel at home here.
