This Prezzo is extremely convenient for the cinema next door, and I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve dined there either before or after a film. Don’t be fooled by what looks like a fairly small frontage as the restaurant is actually really quite large once you get inside. The décor is nice, I’m rather fond of the lighting on the wall on the left side and thankfully due to the size of the area they have to play with, the tables aren’t all smushed together. The food, as this is a chain after all, is identical to every other Prezzo. But that’s no bad thing if you already know that you like certain dishes of theirs. The only possible downside of the restaurant is the flip side of it being nice and big — it can be occasionally difficult to get a waiters attention in order to pay. But other than that, it’s fine.

This review is for the Prezzo(formerly Jonathan’s) located elsewhere in Harrow but whose address isn’t coming to mind. We have been going to Prezzo since it was Jonathan’s. It is among our favorite places to eat. Apart from one occasion(with a very snooty eastern-European sever who seemed like she was doing us the biggest favor by serving us), we’ve enjoyed excellent service there. The portions are plentiful, the prices fair, and as two vegetarians who struggle to eat in Italian restaurants from time to time, there is enough to choose from. We each order a pasta dish with some wine and relax with good conversation and company. Skip dessert — we once did a dessert as takeaway and were very disappointed to see it was mostly pre-packaged items the host was putting in a to-go box for us. I’d rather enjoy something sweet to finish my meal elsewhere. It’s the perfect place for a date or family meal. We’ve gone just the two of us or with friends — it doesn’t matter. It isn’t the most flashy restaurant but it’s décor is inviting and we’ll continue to go back as often as we can. Whenever I’m in London, I always make a stop there.

Not a bad choice for Italian food, especially for Harrow. It’s a nice restaurant with a wide range of dishes available. I don’t think it’s very Veggie friendly, but I’m pretty sure you can ask for any of the meat dishes to be made without the meat! I ordered mine without pepperoni and that’s exactly what i got :) We ordered the Pane Con Cipolla as a starter, which was quite nice but nothing to write home about i’m afraid. For our main meal we had Pollo Mariano, which was a baked pasta dish and quite lovely. My friend had the Di Mare calzone, which he loved. The portions are decent and will leave you feeling rather carbs bloated! They’re wine selection could be better. What sealed the deal with me was the dessert! We had a mouth watering Honeycomb Smash Cheesecake! It’s heaven in your mouth and i suggest dining there just to eat that! After a long day of shopping around Harrow, stop by Prezzo and treat yourself to one — you can thank me later ;)

I like Prezzo. It’s not going to rock your socks. You’re not going to walk out of there thinking WOW, HOTDAMN! You ARE, however, going to get full and experience the full joys of a carbohydrate laden meal. The food is well presented and yummy and the options are plentiful for people with many types of preferences. Personally, I like the calzones if I’m starving and want more food than I should(but will) eat. This location in particular is set in a shopping centre with a decent Vue theatre attached, so heading out for ye olde traditional dinner and a movie type date night couldn’t be easier. Plus, if you go late enough, parking in the ramp is free. That’s handy as well.
