This Jan De Vries health clinic and dispensary sells natural herbal medicine. This branch is just a short walk from Hyndland Station so if you’re feeling under the weather or just need a little ‘pick me up’ then I would recommend it. Prices are a lot cheaper than you would expect and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.
Jan De Vries is often in the shop taking consultations and food intolerance/​allergy testing can also be done here.
In addition to medicines, you will also find health foods and herbal teas here.

From the outside, this little shop looks like it should be on Diagon Alley with its old fashioned windows like a little apothecary. The inside feels about the same — except with more new-​age products than dusty bottles of herbs. There’s lots of baskets of odd sounding soap, and plenty nutritional supplements to make you feel less guilty for cramming burgers in your gob for dinner. I got some shampoo here that smells deliciously herby — a nice change from the overwhelming fake sweet smell of Herbal Essences. And it’s better for your hair too!
Every thing is a bit like that in here though — all organic, interesting and musky smelling. Like a hippy romance, but more expensive.
