Hyndland Train Station Cafe

It is a rather furstrating and depressing experience standing at a train station and suddenly realizing you have a 15 minute wait for a train in the rain, cold and wind, with nobody to chat to and nothing to do except stare down the train line willing the train to hurry up. Nothing can ease the tension like a good cup of tea. Suddenly the wait seems much more bearable.
This is why every train station should have a wee café and it genuinely makes waiting at Hyndland Station a much more pleasant experience.

You sleep in. You are running late. You really want that precious cup of tea or some coffee. Too late. You have to run out of the house. You look at your watch. Got to hurry. Dam. I just missed that train!
Normally this is a cause for anger and stamping of feet but if you at Hyndland Train Station never worry because you can get the cup of refreshing, hot, wakeup juice while you wait.
The tiny Café/​Newsagent faces the ticket office and it is perfect for the morning paper or a tasty cuppa. I only recently discovered this delight when I was going to town one Saturday morning but since then I always my coffee while I wait. A large coffee is only 1.45. Bargin!
