Cafe Dijon

My 3 friends and I went here after purchasing a deal online. The café is very basic and run by the owner. The afternoon tea selection was pleasant but nothing out of the ordinary. I haven’t been back since but would consider going again.

Popping up in the ashes of the late «cookie», which seemed to be closed whenever you actually might need it… another coffee shop. with cakes.
myself and my lady popped in for a coffee and a cake. now, when coffee shops open up and proclaim their love and devotion to coffee, i have fairly high expectations, which have mostly been dashed. Laurie’s (best coffee in glasgow? barely the best in your postcode. sorry), coffee culture (bleurgh!) beanscene (must be baked beans they specialise in then…) i’m looking at you. anyhow. the victoria sponge we had was delicious, the muffin mostly ok. the coffee, really not much to be said, high temperature and way too milky. i’ll be back for cakes and breakfast i think, hold the coffee. i would advise that a coffee shop be open earlier in the morning, when people actually need the caffeine, unlike cookie.
