It was a bit of a shame to see Fantoosh the fish shop close, but they’ve re-​opened with a different focus. Fantoosh Fish to Go is more of a café/​takeaway space, still with a fishy focus.
I popped in for a nosey on my way to meeting a friend so I didn’t try any of the food this time. They have a pretty big selection of ready to eat food — sandwiches, soup, focaccias, sushi and they also do freshly made crepes (which looked awesome!) and coffee. There’s also ready made food which you could take home to reheat for dinner, like Cullen Skink, fish cakes, tarts.
Staff were warm and friendly, and excited to tell me about the new offerings. I’ll definitely head back when I’m in the area next.
