Starbucks

This is my local sbux. They never remember my name which is a bit of a big bear considering I’m in there nearly every day and every time they ask me name AND how to spell it. Other than that it rarely gets busy other than at school holidays and some weekends. I love that it’s located in a waterstones and elevated above it all. If you’re disabled or have a buggy they no have the lift working at the back of the store. Toilet facilities are good and now even better since they got rid of the daft PIN scheme. Whilst they never remember me the staff are still nice and friendly. You can also order in advance which is great and they still have Eggnog in stock from christmas, haha. Always a winner!

This Starbucks resides inside of a Waterstones bookshop at the mammoth shopping complex known as the Fort Kinnaird Shopping Centre. The bookstore is currently undergoing some renovations, but they don’t really get in the way of this fine coffee shop.
I enjoyed an afternoon at this location, soaking up the free wifi and caffeine drinks, while I waited for some friends to arrive for a mid-​afternoon meal. The staff members were both friendly to me and one took the time to explain what was in a new drink that I was ordering.
The wifi worked well, the seating area upstairs is plentiful, and the atmosphere is good overall. After needing to use the restroom, the woman who had just finished cleaning it told me it was fine to go in, and she even remembered my name. You don’t see that everyday.
Overall, this is an above-​average Starbucks location to me. The fact that it is hidden away in the back of a bookstore at a large shopping centre may turn some people off from it, but not me. I like the change-​of-​pace and different atmosphere. It will be even nicer pretty soon when construction ends.

This is the closest Starbucks to me, 15 mins drive from my hoose. Easy to get too and situated upstairs from HMV.
The staff are always nice to me and i always get my drink as i asked for! Plenty of spaces outside for parking or you can catch the No 30 lothian buses right outside the shops!

My sweet Starbucks. We have had our ups & downs this year. We have laughed & we have enjoyed some naughty chocolate moments together, but, you’ve changed. You no longer have my nice iced doughnuts or even a very berry scone & to be honest, your coffee is second best to Costa. Costa now has returned the ‘Linzer Biscuit” and your coffee just does not do it anymore. So despite your girl with the perfect smile & bum, I’m leaving you. Thanks for everything & please remember its not me, its you.
