Signarama

Generally designed for small businesses, Sign A Rama must get plenty of business from idiots like us. For a mate’s 21^st birthday one of us suggested getting his favourite quote (it’s from Anchorman… original hey) made into a poster for him. We all jumped at the chance until a quiet voice from the corner piped up with ‘that’s shit’. Rounding on him we asked what could be better, and lo and behold ended up in Sign A Rama.
The guy there was really cool and humoured us, well we were paying him. The shop is not limited to professional signs, they obviously do phrases up to a certain length. I am not certain about swear words but I think it would be up to the owner’s discretion. You can also get certain designs done, as long as they are not too complicated.
It took a few days and a few quid (it didn’t seem too expensive but I have little previous sign purchasing experience to compare it to) and soon we were the proud owner’s of a brand new neon sign. It has yet to prove a hit with the ladies but the birthday boy blames them for that and assures us it will pick up. Even if it doesn’t it was still a bit of a laugh and the only downside is that it slowly adds month by month to our leccy bills.
